Macaulay Culkin slams Franco, Affleck during live-tweeting of Oscars

Actor Macaulay Culkin has slammed James Franco, Casey Affleck and more Hollywood stars while live-tweeting during the 90th Annual Academy Awards telecast. The 37-year-old actor began his Twitter-spree by announcing that he would not be watching the 2018 Oscars. "I will be live tweeting the Oscars tonight, but I won't be watching them. WHAT! That's crazy!" he posted on Twitter. Culkin then went on to write series of messages aimed at male actors tied to sexual harassment charges within the entertainment industry. He started with Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey. "EXCLUSIVE: I heard Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein were going to come disguised as a very tall man in a long trench coat but they got busted by security," he posted. He then called out at Affleck, "Casey Affleck couldn't make it cause he was stuck in the 1950s." Targetting Franco, Culkin tweeted, "James Franco is a disaster. Artists? 'The Disaster Artist' was the worst harry potter movie this year.

Rishi thanks Oscars for remembering Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi

Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor today thanked the Academy of Motion Picture and Science for paying tributes to Indian stars, Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi in the In Memoriam segment at the 2018 Oscars ceremony. The 65-year-old actor expressed his gratitude to the Academy on Twitter. "Oscars. Thank you for remembering Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi," the actor wrote. He is the nephew of the legendary actor, who passed away last year in December after a prolonged illness. Rishi was a close associate of Sridevi, having acted opposite her in films such "Chandni", "Nagina" and "Gurudev" among others. The 54-year-old actor passed away on February 24 due to accidental drowning in a Dubai hotel. Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi remembered at Oscars 2018

The Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences (AMPAS) today paid its tributes to Indian stars Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi in the In Memoriam section of the Oscars. The In Memoriam segment of the annual Academy Awards remembers artistes who died in the past one year. Kapoor was primarily known as the charming, classic actor in Bollywood for his roles in the '70s and '80s commercial films such as "Deewar", "Kabhie Kabhie", "Namak Halal" and "Kaala Patthar". The veteran actor, who died on December 4 last year at the age of 79, was, however, one of the few crossover stars who went on to play a proactive role in presenting India on the world map through Ivory-Merchant productions such as "The Householder", "Shakespeare Wallah", "The Guru", "Bombay Talkie" and "In Custody" (Muhafiz).
