'That's so Raven' star Orlando Brown arrested in California

Orlando Brown, the actor who starred in Disney's hit-TV show 'That's so Raven', was arrested following a family dispute.According to People Magazine, the 30-year-old star was arrested in Barstow, California, after authorities responded to a family disturbance call.As per the official statement released by the Barstow Police Department, the actor was arrested after an argument broke out between him, his girlfriend and his girlfriend's mother at his apartment.Through an investigation, the officer learned that Orlando had an active arrest warrant from Torrance Police Department.He was booked on the following charges - battery against a spouse, resisting a peace officer and possession of a controlled substance. Terming the controversy-hit Bollywood film "Padmaavat" as 'bakwas' (rubbish), AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi asked Muslims not to waste their time watching it. "Don't go. Lupita Nyong'o pens a book to inspire children of colour

Actor Lupita Nyong'o has written a children's book and she wishes it inspires people of colour "to walk with joy in their own skin". The Oscar-winning actor shared the news on her Instagram page and said the book's name is "Sulwe" which has been inspired by her own childhood as a black teenager. "I am pleased to reveal that I have written a children's book! It's called 'Sulwe'! Sulwe is a dark skinned girl who goes on a starry-eyed adventure, and awakens with a reimagined sense of beauty," Nyong'o tweeted while sharing a screenshot of her interview with the New York Times. "She encounters lessons that we learn as children and spend our lives unlearning. This is a story for little ones, but no matter the age I hope it serves as an inspiration for everyone to walk with joy in their own skin," she added. Chouhan asks advocate general to review SC's order on 'Padmaavat'

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday said that the advocate general has been asked to review the Supreme Court's order before taking a decision on the screening of 'Padmaavat' in the state.Chouhan's statement comes a day after the Supreme Court set aside the notification passed by the states of Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat to ban the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial Padmaavat.Speaking to reporters here, Chouhan said "I have asked our Advocate General to study the order, I have not seen it yet. The Delhi Police on Friday assured tight security in the cinema halls for a hassle-free screening of the controversial film 'Padmaavat'."Delhi Police will maintain security at all cinema halls. Veteran actor Helen Mirren said she never faced sexual harassment in Hollywood as she debuted late in the industry. In an interview with Sunday Today, a preview of which has been released, Mirren talked about how men would often expose themselves in front of her when she was in her twenties. Actor-singer Justin Timberlake's new single "Supplies" showcases all what is wrong in the modern society. The song starts with images flashing on multiple television sets showcasing the issues headlining in the media: sexual harassment, Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, racism and police brutality in the US. In one of the sequences from the song, US President Donald Trump's infamous remarks from the leaked Access Hollywood tape are printed on a T-shirt worn by a woman who is lifting the car Timberlake sits on.
