Katrina, Aamir rehearse with Prabhudeva for 'Thugs of Hindostan'
Looks like Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif are really sweating it out for much-awaited 'Thugs of Hindostan'.Today, the film's lead actress Katrina shared a picture with Aamir and Prabhudeva as they rehearse for a song for the movie.The photograph shows Aamir taking a selfie with Katrina and ace choreographer Prabhudeva. The film's official Twitter handle also shared the first image from the dance rehearsals.The movie is being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and marks the second collaboration of the director with Aamir and Katrina, first being 'Dhoom 3'.The film brings together the 'Dangal' star and Amitabh Bachchan on the silver screen for the first time.The film is scheduled to release on November 7.
PM Modi, Netanyahu rename Teen Murti chowk after Israeli city
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday attended a ceremony to mark the formal renaming of iconic Teen Murti Chowk as Teen Murti Haifa Chowk.The two premiers, who signed the visitor's book at the chowk, were received by Army Chief General Bipin Rawat and Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar.They laid wreath and paid tribute at the Chowk.The three bronze statues at Teen Murti represent the Hyderabad, Jodhpur and Mysore Lancers, who were part of the 15 Imperial Service Cavalry Brigade, which carried out the victorious assault on the fortified city of Haifa on September 23, 1918, during World War I.There are various accounts of this battle - all narrate the brave valour with which the lancers undertook the assault on the garrisoned town protected by a joint force of Ottomans, Germany and Austria Hungary.The capture of Haifa cleared a route for the Allies to supplies to the city through the sea. Teen Murti Chowk renamed after Israeli city Haifa
Teen Murti Chowk in central Delhi was formally rechristened as Teen Murti-Haifa Chowk in a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu today. The two leaders also laid a wreath and signed the visitor's book at the memorial. In the visitor's book, Modi wrote that he saluted the "great Indian traditions of selfless sacrifice and penance" of Indian soldiers, who laid down their lives during the liberation of the city of Haifa and the First World War. On the surface, Anurag Kashyap and Shah Rukh Khan may belong to different cinematic universes but the filmmaker vows not to leave Bollywood until he works with the superstar. 'Modern Family' likely to end after season 10
Popular ABC sitcom "Modern Family" is slated to end after its tenth season next year. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd co-creators of the popular ABC sitcom revealed that they "can't imagine" the series continuing after season 10. "Our plan is to end it at 10," Levitan said. "If we can leave with most of our audience wanting more, I think that's the right way to do it." Although Levitan said that the decision to wrap up the series had not been finalised yet, he added, "I just can't imagine that we'd go past that." The show is currently on its ninth season. Lloyd said they have already started thinking of "loose ideas" for how to end the series. Slow and steady wins the race is Diana Penty's mantra in life and the actor says she prefers waiting for "quality" work rather than picking anything and everything that comes her way. The 32-year-old actor, who made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with "Cocktail", said she never gives her nod to a project if she is unsure about the part offered. "I don't want to be in films just to look good. I want to contribute as an actor towards quality cinema. "I do wait for the correct offer to come my way. It takes a long time but till the time I am not 100 per cent sure about doing it, I don't do it. One has to be patient in waiting for good offers," Diana told PTI. The actor said she feels blessed that she is getting opportunities to play different characters. Hope no film faces protests like 'Padmaavat': Sonam Kapoor
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Padmaavat" is finally releasing on January 25 after a long struggle with the censor board and actor Sonam Kapoor says she hopes no film faces the same fate as the upcoming period drama.
