"Bodyguard" creator Jed Mercurio on Monday said he is in talks with the BBC for a second season. The British television series starring Richard Madden, aired on BBC in UK and on Netflix globally. Actors John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi have been locked to feature in filmmaker Sanjay Gupta's upcoming gangster drama. The film is set in the 1980s and 1990s and in a fictionalised manner revolves around the key events that turned Bombay to Mumbai. According to a press release, the untitled drama will chronicle the closing of mills, the murder of a key businessman, the nexus between politicians, cops, the underworld and the business fraternity of the city. "It's my third outing with John and I'm super excited to work with Emraan, I have always wanted to work with him and I am back to my base of filmmaking, gangster dramas and all I can say is...It's good to be home," Gupta said in a statement. 'Love, Death and Robots' renewed for season 2
Netflix has renewed "Love, Death and Robots" for a second season. The streaming platform made the announcement on its See What's Next Twitter page and also revealed that Jennifer Yuh Nelson has joined the series as supervising director, overseeing all episodes. She previously directed multiple episodes of "Spawn", "Kung Fu Panda 2" and "Kung Fu Panda 3", and the live-action feature "The Darkest Minds". The first season of "Love, Death and Robots" was a collection of animated short stories spanning several genres, including science fiction, fantasy, horror and comedy. Each episode ran from six to seventeen minutes in length and hailed from different writers, directors, and animation studios. "Love, Death and Robots" is executive produced by David Fincher, Tim Miller, Jennifer Miller and Josh Donen.

WarnerMedia's streaming service has given straight-to-series order to sci-fi project "Dune: The Sisterhood" with Denis Villeneuve attached as the director of the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series comes from Legendary Television, with Legendary also producing the upcoming "Dune" film reboot from Villeneuve. Warner Bros is distributing the film.
