Pop band Black Eyed Peas and other performers are being slammed by human rights activists over their planned appearances at a music festival in Saudi Arabia next month. Officials from Saudi Arabia have been under intense scrutiny since the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and the country's differing accounts of his death. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Human Rights Foundation has claimed that it has a long list of violations perpetrated by Saudi Arabia and crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, known as MbS. Colin Farrell to star in Guy Ritchie's 'Toff Guys'

Colin Farrell is set to star alongside Matthew McConaughey in Guy Ritchie's upcoming directorial venture "Toff Guys". Henry Golding, Hugh Grant and Jeremy Strong are also part of the Miramax feature project. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Michelle Dockery is also on the call sheet replacing Kate Beckinsale. The film revolves around McConaughey a businessman who has built a weed empire and now wants out; the other characters are either complications or helpful to his scheme. Dockery is the man's wife, while Golding will play a Vietnamese gangster. Grant is a photographer who snaps scandalous photos of the protagonist and schemes to blackmail him. Farrell will play a character named Coach, a man who trains MMA fighters. Ritchie has written the script with Marn Davies and Ivan Atkinson. Production is already underway.

Actor Rachel Weisz says she has serious issues with the label "strong women characters" as no one gives such tags to the parts played by men in the movies. Weisz, whose recent film "The Favourite" from director Yorgos Lanthimos is receiving great reviews, said it is important that young women should identify with the female characters on-screen. Hero Fiennes Tiffin to Star in 'Freedom's Path'

British actor Hero Fiennes Tiffin is set to star in the upcoming war drama "Freedom's Path". Brett Smith is directing the movie based on his short film of the same name, reported Variety. Scott Mednick and Skyler Mednick will produce the project through their Mednick Productions, alongside A J Winslow and Jim Pidgeon. The story follows a wounded Union soldier named Kitch who, when saved by a group of black soldiers, helps them run the Underground Railroad while he recovers from his injuries. Fiennes Tiffin will play William, a naive Union soldier who is horrified when he enters the war. A deserter and a coward, he befriends Kitch and learns the error of his prejudice.
