The 1955 classic followed two dogs, an upper-middle-class American cocker spaniel named Lady and a a street smart, downtown stray mongrel called the Tramp, as they embark on many romantic adventures. Theroux recently came aboard the film and he will be voicing Tramp. Jensen will be providing the voice for Scottish Terrier Jackie. The studio has hired Charlie Bean to helm the live-action/CG hybrid remake with a script by Andrew Bujalski. Brigham Taylor will produce the project, which will be available exclusively on Disneys own digital streaming service scheduled to be launched late next year.
HBO has ordered a new series based on Audrey Niffenegger's bestseller "The Time Traveler's Wife". The series will be adapted by Steven Moffat, who is best known for "Sherlock" and "Doctor Who" shows. The story follows Henry, a man with a genetic disorder that causes him to time travel unpredictably, and his wife Clare, who has to cope with his frequent absences and dangerous experiences. The studio has not provided an episode count while casting is yet to begin. Moffat will also serve as executive producer on the project alongside Sue Vertue and Brian Minchin. "I read Audrey Niffenegger's 'The Time Traveler's Wife' many years ago, and I fell in love with it.
