Rajinikanth visits hospital; enquires about Karuna's health

Top Tamil actor Rajinikanth today visited a private hospital here and enquired about the health of DMK president M Karunanidhi, who is under intensive care for the fourth consecutive day. Actor Alan Alda, best known for fans for his role of Hawkeye Pierce on "M*A*S*H" and in TV shows such as "The Blacklist" and "The Good Fight", has opened up about his battle with parkinson's disease. The 82-year-old actor said he was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disorder three and a half years ago but he decided to speak out after his symptoms became more noticeable. "I've had a full life since. I've acted, I've given talks... It hasn't stopped my life at all. I've had a richer life than I've had up until now," he said during an apperance on CBS This Morning. Biopics won't go away anytime soon, says Omung Kumar

He was one of the first directors to make a biopic on a sports star and now Bollywood is flooded with such stories. Director Omung Kumar, who made his debut with a film on boxer Mary Kom's life, says there is a "mad rush" to make such stories because they do well at the box office. "There is a mad rush because everyone wanted to do it. Who will try it first was the question because if that project becomes successful, then they are like we also have an idea for a biopic.
