West Bengal celebrates "Rosogolla Dibas"
The West Bengal government is celebrating Wednesday as "Rosogolla Dibas" to commemorate the first anniversary of the sweetmeat getting Geographical Indication (GI) tag as 'West Bengal's Rosogolla'. As a mark of its celebrations, different varieties of rosogollas are being showcased in the stalls of the 'Mishti Hub', set up in one part of the Eco Park in New Town area. "Banglar Rosogolla got the GI tag last year on this day. We are observing this day as #RosogollaDibas at #MistiHub in #Kolkata to mark this sweet occasion. Everyone is welcome," Banerjee wrote on her Twitter handle today. On November 14 last year, West Bengal received the GI tag for Rosogolla, a ball-shaped cottage cheese dipped in a light syrup of sugar. The GI tag is a sign that identifies a product as originating from a particular place.

Delhi Traffic Police issues advisory for Trade Fair
The Delhi Traffic Police on Tuesday issued an advisory about special traffic arrangements and restrictions during India International Trade Fair from November 14 to 27, police said. The entry to the fair will be restricted to business visitors only from November 14 to 17, and it will be open for general public from November 18 to 27, they said. To ensure smooth regulation and movement of traffic on the roads surrounding Pragati Maidan, no vehicle will be allowed to halt or park anywhere on Mathura Road and Bhairon Marg, the advisory said. No vehicle of visitors will be allowed to be parked on Sher Shah Road, Purana Quila Road, Bhagwan Dass Road and Tilak Marg, the advisory stated. Vehicles found parked on the above-mentioned roads would be towed away and prosecuted with a fine of Rs 600 for improper parking and disobedience of instructions. ITC food park, hotel in Odisha to be operational in 2019
ITC Ltd on Monday said its integrated foods manufacturing facility and luxury hotel in Odisha will be operational in 2019. The FMCG major will manufacture some of its foods brands like 'Aashirvaad', 'Sunfeast', 'YiPPee!' and 'Bingo!' in the integrated unit in Khurda, ITC said in a release. "ITC's investment projects in Odisha, including the integrated foods manufacturing facility and luxury hotel in Bhubaneswar under the 'WelcomHotel' brand will commence operations by the end of next year," ITC MD Sanjiv Puri was was quoted as saying at the 'Make in Odisha Conclave-2018'. The company said its hotel, once operational, will add to Odisha's "vibrant tourism" landscape.

Ministry of Railways will run a special tourist train -- Shri Ramayana Express -- from November 14, covering four important destinations associated with the life of Lord Ram in a 16-days tour package spread over India and Sri Lanka.Named as Shri Ramayana Yatra-Sri Lanka, the pilgrimage circuit will have two travel components --one each in India and Sri Lanka. After leaving Delhi, the train will make its first stop in Ayodhya followed by Hanuman Garhi Ramkot and Kanak Bhawan temple.
