With most Indians being travel enthusiasts, a report has found that 63 per cent travellers make holiday related searches at their office, which peaks just after lunch hour, according to a survey. Travel search engine Kayak analysed the travel search data on its platform and found that 63 per cent of travel searches are made during working hours, from 9 am 6 pm, which is regular work hours. The data is based on searches made for economy return flights on Kayak during January 2017 to July 2018 for travel dates during January 2018 - December 2018, compared with the corresponding period in the previous year. During the work day, travel searches reach their peak in the hours during and just after lunch, with a significant 19 per cent of searches being made between 1pm - 3pm when many employees are just returning to the office from their midday lunch breaks, the report said. Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today inaugurated the five-day International Colour Festival in which artists would depict the state's image in their canvases. Organised by the state Art, Culture and Tourism departments, the Festival would be held till August 27, an official release said. Stating that an artist depicts the social anguish through his paintings, the chief minister urged them to depict the beauty of Jharkhand in their canvas and exhibit them in international festivals. During this festival, artists will travel to tourist spots and paint there, and those paintings will be exhibited on the last day, said Art, Culture and Tourism Minister Amar Kumar Bauri. A family of three had a miraculous escape as their two-wheeler raced for more than 200 metres with just the toddler on the busy Tumkuru road here after the parents got thrown off when the motorcycle dashed against another. The incident took place on Sunday but a video of it recorded on a dash-cam of another vehicle has now gone viral. The video shows the couple speeding on a bike, with the child in front, and ramming into another two-wheeler. The couple are then seen thrown off the bike due to the impact of the collision, even as the toddler continued to remain seated on the moving vehicle. Continuing its drive against adulteration of milk-items, teams of the food safety and dairy development department raided dairy shops at several places in the state. An official spokesman said that in a raid at a dairy in village Khokh in Patiala, eight quintals of spurious milk, 12 quintal cheese and 130 kg cream were seized. Similarly, in another raid at a shop in village Sangatpur Bhonki, 90 kg chese, 1,400 kg milk and other items were seized. In Tarn Taran a vehicle carrying about 300 kg of spurious 'Khoya Burfi', milk cake, Ladoo, was intercepted at Jandiala Road and the items were seized. Raids were also conducted at shops in Ropar, Jalandhar, Ferozepur and Fazilka. Samples of milks products were taken and they would be sent to labs for testing, the spokesman said.
