Continuing its drive against adulteration of milk-items, teams of the food safety and dairy development department raided dairy shops at several places in the state.
An official spokesman said that in a raid at a dairy in village Khokh in Patiala, eight quintals of spurious milk, 12 quintal cheese and 130 kg cream were seized.
Similarly, in another raid at a shop in village Sangatpur Bhonki, 90 kg chese, 1,400 kg milk and other items were seized.
In Tarn Taran a vehicle carrying about 300 kg of spurious 'Khoya Burfi', milk cake, Ladoo, was intercepted at Jandiala Road and the items were seized.
Raids were also conducted at shops in Ropar, Jalandhar, Ferozepur and Fazilka.
Samples of milks products were taken and they would be sent to labs for testing, the spokesman said.
