"Pretty Little Liars" star Janel Parrish and longtime boyfriend Chris Long have tied the knot. The couple got married in Waikane, Hawaii this weekend after two years dating. Parrish posted on her Instagram page a photo of the two kissing at their rehearsal dinner. "Rehearsal dinner photo. But today...I married him," she wrote. "Loving my husband so much @c_long." For the wedding, Parrish wore a mermaid-style Inbal Dror gown with a sweetheart neckline, corset bodice and long, feathered train, Us Weekly reported. Avicii's death forced me to make some changes in my life, says David Guetta

Celebrated DJ David Guetta says he vowed to change his life following Avicii's suicide. The 50-year-old DJ said everyone in the EDM world was ''incredibly shocked'' when the 28-year-old star passed away in an apparent suicide in April and it has made him realise he needs to ''reorganise'' his own career and personal life. ''We were all incredibly shocked by what happened. It's forced me to make some hard decisions, to change my life. I could see it coming in myself, this depression. And I'm a happy person, I'm really not a depressive type. But I realised I needed to reorganise my life to stay like this. ''I remember Avicii telling me how many shows he was doing a year and thinking, 'This is horrible. It's torture.' But it's hard to say no. You want to do what's right for your career. But if you keep saying yes, one day you'll fall," Guetta told the Times Culture magazine. Avicii died in Oman on April 21 at the age of 28.

UP family calls off wedding, says bride spends too much time on WhatsApp

4 killed as car crashes into tree in TN

Four people, including three women, were killed when their car rammed into a roadside tree near here late Sunday, police said. Antony, an engineer of Uchipulli, about 30 km from here, was driving the car on their way to Ramanathapuram when the mishap occurred, apparently after he lost control, near the Naval airbase, they said. All the four occupants of the car were killed on the spot, police said.

26-year-old lioness dies in MP's Van Vihar National Park

Jamuna, a 26-year-old lioness, Sunday died at the Van Vihar National Park in Bhopal due to old age, an official said. He said that Jamuna was not suffering from any ailment and died a natural death due to weakness from old age. He added that, at 26 years of age, the lioness lived a longer life than that of the average big cat as she was well looked after at the Animal Rescue Centre of the Van Vihar National Park. Jamuna was brought here from Kanan Pendari Zoo in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur in 2010. The lioness was, earlier, rescued from Rajmahal Circus in Bhilai, the official said. "A post mortem by two Van Vihar doctors has revealed that her internal organs were not functioning normally," he said.

Facebook apologises for removing Burt Reynolds' Cosmopolitan photos from users posts

Facebook has tendered an apology for its crackdown on users posts containing pictures of Burt Reynolds's iconic 1970s Cosmopolitan photoshoot. The social media giant's apology came after several users complained that the photo was taken down from their tribute posts honouring Reynolds, who died on Thursday. In a statement, obtained by Entertainment Weekly, a spokesperson for the company said the images were "mistakenly removed". "We are restoring the image as it does not break our standards and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused," the statement read. Reynolds, best known for films such as "Smokey and the Bandit", "Deliverance", "The Longest Yard" and "Boogie Nights", had famously posed for the April 1972 issue of Cosmopolitan, appearing nude on a bear-skin rug.

President Ram Nath Kovind paid floral tributes to India's first Nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore, at the Thakurova Park here on Sunday.The President and his wife, Savita Kovind, bowed in front of Tagore's bust and stood for a minute to pay their respects.The Thakurova Park was named in honour of Tagore, who is well-revered by many people in the Czech Republic. First embryo transplanted calf born in J-K

In a first, a female calf of 'Sahiwal' breed was born to a crossbred Jersey cow at the Central Cattle Breeding & Research Farm here, using embryo transplant technology, an official spokesman said Saturday. The calf was born at the Belicharana farm Friday, the spokesman said. He said the seven-day-old frozen 'Sahiwal' embryo was transplanted in a crossbred Jersey cow on December 4 last year. The project was undertaken by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Jammu in collaboration with the National Dairy Development Board, the spokesman said, adding the local team was headed by D S Bindra, the Superintendent Central Veterinary Hospital in Jammu.

268 cadets pass out of Officers Training Academy

A total of 268 cadets was commissioned as officers at a passing out parade at the Officers Training Academy here Saturday.
