L&T-Cloudfiniti partners with three AI startups to drive digital innovation

Larsen & Toubro on Tuesday announced its division L&T-Cloudfiniti has partnered with three leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) startups, including one based in Europe. The partnerships have been established with Hanooman AI, CoRover, and Pidima AI. The collaborations will focus on developments in healthcare, life sciences, vertical AI, and conversational technologies in India and across the globe by harnessing cutting-edge AI models to transform key industries and drive digital innovation in multiple sectors, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said in a filing to BSE. L&T signs pact with ACWA Power to build desalination plant in Saudi Arabia

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Thursday said it has entered into a pact with ACWA Power, a developer in the Middle East, to build a desalination plant in Saudi Arabia. The water and effluent treatment business of L&T won the order in a joint venture with Lantania of Spain. The project's scope includes design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, L&T said in a statement. The plant will serve as a drinking water source for Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Baha regions, benefiting about one million population. This is the second desalination order that L&T has received in Saudi Arabia in the recent past and it strengthens the company's presence in the Middle East. L&T secures major Hindalco order to build alumina refinery in Odisha

Larsen & Toubro on Thursday said it has secured a large order from Hindalco for setting up an 850 KTPA (kilo tonne per annum) greenfield alumina refinery plant in Odisha. The order has been secured by its Minerals & Metals (M&M) business vertical, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said in an exchange filing. According to the company's classification, a large order ranges between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore. The scope of work includes engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction & installation in collaboration with reputed technology providers. L&T's M&M vertical offers world-class end-to-end solutions in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) domain across sectors such as mining, minerals processing, industrial products and material handling.

DEE Development Engineers expects revenue to triple to Rs 2,400-cr: CMD

DEE Development Engineers, a piping solutions provider, expects its revenue to triple to around Rs 2,400 crore in the next three to five years as it embarks on its next phase of growth, the company's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Krishan Lalit Bansal said. The company, which reported a revenue of Rs 785 crore in 2023-24, is expecting higher revenue in the current financial year, Bansal said during an interaction here. DEE Development Engineers has launched its new facility in Anjar with an investment of Rs 250 crore. The facility, with an initial capacity of 12,000 tonnes per annum, is expected to be ramped to 27,000 tonnes per annum by September this year. The company also plans to come up with a Rs 90-crore seamless pipe manufacturing facility in Anjar by December this year, Bansal added. L&T bags significant orders worth Rs 1K-25K cr in Q3FY25 in India, overseas

Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Wednesday said its heavy engineering arm has bagged significant orders in the third quarter in the domestic market and abroad. Orders in the range of Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,500 crore range are classified as 'significant' by the company. In the overseas market, it secured an order for LNG equipment for a project in the USA, L&T said in a filing to BSE. The business also secured a breakthrough order for a loop reactor in a Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) Polypropylene (PP) Plant in Turkey. Further, the business has secured a repeat order from a leading oil and gas customer in Saudi Arabia for a Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit revamp project.
