NTA extends NEET UG 2024 examination registration date till March 16

The National Testing Agency on Monday extended the registration window for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2024 examination till March 16.According to an official statement, the NEET UG 2024 will be conducted on May 5, 2024, from 2 pm to 5.20 PM, throughout the country and in 14 cities outside India in pen & paper (offline) mode.The registration for the online application forms for NEET (UG) 2024 has been ongoing since February 9. "During this time, we have received representations from stakeholders regarding the changes in NEET (UG) 2024 and the extension of the registration window," read the official statement further.Announcing the extension of NEET 2024 registration last date, the NTA said, "Candidates should note that this is a one-time opportunity, so they are advised to use it carefully as no further chance will be given for applying for NEET (UG)-2024. CUET-UG results announced, 22,000 candidates score 100 percentile

The National Testing Agency on Saturday declared the results for the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG), which showed that over 22,000 candidates scored 100 percentile. The maximum top scorers were in English, followed by Biology and Economics. Over 11.11 lakh candidates had appeared for the second edition of the entrance exam. While 5,685 candidates scored 100 percentile in English, 4,850 candidates got a top score in Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry, followed by 2,836 in Economics. NTA to reschedule CUET exam for Meghalaya students: Education Minister

Meghalaya Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma on Thursday said the National Testing Authority (NTA) has decided to reschedule CUET examination for students from the northeastern state who have been allotted centres elsewhere in the country. The Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) is scheduled to be held on Friday. "The Union Ministry for Human Resources has directed the NTA to reschedule the exam for students from the state who were allotted CUET examination centres outside the state," Sangma told PTI. The rescheduled exam date for the affected students from Meghalaya will be announced as soon as the state administration submits to the NTA the list of the affected students, he said.
