Whole world is looking at India for knowledge, says RSS chief Bhagwat

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday said people of the country need to understand their "swa" (self) because the whole world is looking at India for knowledge. He was speaking at a seminar on the subject "Swadhinta Se Swatantrata Ki Aur", organised by the RSS' sister outfit Bharatiya Vichar Manch here. "Other countries look toward ancient Indian philosophy for guidance. Our ancient scriptures and books are eternal. Even today, the whole world looks toward India for knowledge. In such a situation, we all need to understand our 'swa' (self)," Bhagwat is quoted as saying in a release. RSS coordination to start in Chhattisgarh tomorrow; BJP's Nadda to attend

The three-day 'Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak' or annual national coordination meet of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be held from Saturday in Raipur in Chhattisgarh, a functionary of the outfit said. The meeting, to be held in Jainam Manas Bhavan near the airport here, would be attended by 36 outfits inspired by the RSS, among them the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, he said. Raipur: RSS chief Bhagwat to hold talks ahead of national coordination meet

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat and RSS Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale will hold meetings in Raipur for three days from Wednesday to chalk out plans for the upcoming national coordination meeting of organisations inspired by the RSS, a Sangh functionary said. The three-day Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak (national coordination meeting) of office-bearers of various outfits inspired by the RSS will be held in the Chhattisgarh capital from September 10. RSS is working to make India 'model society' for entire world, says Bhagwat

The RSS is working to awaken and unify the society so that India can emerge as a "model society" for the entire world," its chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Sunday. Bhagwat said people should come forward in serving society as a community and not as an individual.
