Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday said he has spoken with NCP chief Sharad Pawar and was informed that he would participate in the Opposition meeting in Bengaluru on July 18. Many NCP MLAs skip Maha legislature's monsoon session on 1st day

As many as 27 out of the 53 MLAs of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) did not attend the Maharashtra legislature's monsoon session on the first day on Monday. One NCP MLA, Nawab Malik, is currently under judicial custody in connection with a money laundering case.
