Overwhelmed by the sheer domination of Indian batsmen at home, West Indies skipper Jason Holder on Sunday said "you never know what's the par score for a team like India." Despite chasing a huge 323, skipper Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma made the first ODI a lop-sides contest. The Indians cruised to the target in 42.1 overs for a 1-0 lead. "Against a team like India you never know what's the par-score. In hindsight, 320 was probably a par score. At the half way stage I thought we had a par score but we were probably 30 runs short," Holder said at the post-match press conference. ATK hold in-form Jamshedpur to 1-1 draw in ISL
ATK produced a solid defensive display to hold an in-form Jamshedpur FC to a 1-1 draw in a Hero Indian Super League match here on Sunday. Sergio Cidoncha gave Jamshedpur the lead with a 35th-minute freekick before Manuel Lanzarote curled a corner directly into the net at the stroke of half-time to level the scores. ATK's defence was called into action as early as the sixth minute when Gerson Vieira's headed clearance thwarted Cidoncha from getting his head to a Michael Soosairaj's cross. Dabang Delhi beat Bengal Warriors 39-30 in PKL
Dabang Delhi KC defeated Bengal Warriors 39-30 in the first match of Inter Zonal Challenge of Vivo Pro Kabaddi Season VI here on Sunday. Naveen Kumar scored 11 raid points for Delhi whereas Ravinder Pahal contributed four tackle points. Jang Kun Lee put in an impressive second half performance to score 10 points but it wasn't enough for the Bengal outfit. India captain Virat Kohli on Sunday hailed his deputy Rohit Sharma for his superlative batting display, saying it is easy to chase down any target when the Mumbai batsman is at the other end.
