Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan and reserve player Nurul Hasan have both been fined 25 per cent of their match fees and also received one demerit point for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during their side's T20I against Sri Lanka in Colombo on Friday.Shakib was found to have breached Article 2.1.1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to "conduct that is contrary to the spirit of the game", while Nurul was found guilty of violating Article 2.1.2, which deals with "conduct that brings the game into disrepute".This was the first time one demerit point either player has had since the system came into effect on September 22, 2016.The incident involving Shakib happened in 19.2 over of the Bangladesh innings when he came to the edge of the boundary and gestured at his batsmen to come off the field while remonstrating against an umpiring decision.As regards Nurul, the reserve player argued and pointed finger at Sri Lanka captain ..

It's probably the slowest sport at the Winter Paralympics, but curling has proved an unlikely hit, with spectators flocking to watch wheelchair-bound athletes skillfully slide stones over a sheet of ice. Eden to host T20 against Windies on November 4
The one-off Twenty 20 International during West Indies' tour of India later this year, will be held on November 4 at Eden Gardens, Cricket Association of Bengal President Sourav Ganguly said today. The West Indies will tour India for a full series between October and November featuring three Tests, five One Day Internationals and one-off Twenty20. We will host the Caribbean Team for the one-off T20 international at the Eden Gardens, Ganguly said. Ganguly further announced that a new look Eden Gardens may also host the upcoming Indian Premier League qualifiers if Pune fails to host it. IPL 2018: Pune to host two play-off matches
