Delhi Police on Friday arrested two Kashmiri students from Punjab who were involved in hacking over 500 Indian websites, including those of the government, police said.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested two Pro-Pakistan Kashmiri hackers from Punjab.The team also recovered laptops, mobile phones, SIM cards, internet dongles and memory devices from their possession.One of the hackers identified as Shahid Malla is a second year student of B.Tech, from Baramulla while the other Adil Hussain Teli is a final year student of Bachelors of Computer Application (BCA), from Anantnag.Both were living in rented accommodations in Punjab's Rajpura, and were part of a hacking group called Team Hackers Third Eye. They have hacked more than 500 Indian websites as of now.They were also involved in educating and assisting Kashmiri youth to bypass government imposed social media ban, by use of virtual private network last year.Moreover, they were in touch with several Pakistan-based anti-India hackers.

Our aim is to ensure one ITI in every block of the country by the end of 2018 and up-grade our skill institutions with new age skills which are market relevant, he said at the National Conference of State Ministers on Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Places of tourist interest and e-commerce websites were the two things most searched by passengers using the free Wi-Fi internet service at Konkan Railway stations, a senior official said today. He added that there were "hardly any reports" of people using the service to access porn on the internet. The Wi-Fi service, available at 28 stations on the route since it inauguration on May 21 last year, is a joint effort of Konkan Railway (KRCL) and broadband and internet service provider Joister, he added. "Since its launch, over 2.92 lakh users have registered with Joister Infoserve Pvt. Ltd and have been availing the free Wi-Fi service," the official said. Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins today said India can play an important role in developing technologies around areas like healthcare and education that can be deployed at scale in other developing markets like Latin America and Africa. A court here has issued summons to Facebook and its CEO Mark Zuckerberg on a petition filed by a city-based start-up which accused the social networking giant of hampering and interfering in its business. Civil Judge Parth Shankar Mishra on April 23 asked US-based Zuckerberg to appear in his court on June 20. The judge directed that the summons be sent by email. The judge was hearing a civil suit filed by Swapnil Rai, who runs a web portal, thetradebook.org, which he claimed is a business networking platform. In the suit, Rai said Facebook had stopped midway his paid advertisement campaign aimed at promoting his portal. The campaign was scheduled to be run between April 14 and April 21, 2018, but it was "abruptly and wrongfully" stopped on April 16, the petitioner's counsel Ravi Kant Patidar said. The number of elections across the world has reached an all-time high but it has done little to increase the quality of democracy, according to a new study. The study by researchers from the University of Birmingham and the London School of Economics said that a remarkably high proportion of national elections are not free and fair enabling authoritarian leaders to remain in power with the emergence of new technology playing a part in the process of manipulation.
