Mac Miller's first posthumous track 'Time' released

New Delhi, June 13, ANI: Almost 9 months after Mac Miller's sudden death, his first posthumous track has been released. The song titled 'Time' which was released on Wednesday features Miller and singer Kali Uchis. The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, passed away on September 07. It was later found that Miller died of mixed drug toxicity. The cause of death was found by Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner- Coroner. The drugs in Miller's system included fentanyl, cocaine, and ethanol the coroner found.

Strike continues in Kolkata over assault on junior doctor

Kolkata, Jun 13 (ANI): The strike by junior doctors of NRS Medical College and Hospital continued in West Bengal's Kolkata. The doctors went on strike on Tuesday after one of their colleagues was allegedly attacked by the family of a patient who died on June 10. Patients said that they were not allowed to enter the hospital and were suffering due to lack of treatment. The junior doctors locked the hospital gates, stopped work at the outpatient department (OPD) and started a dharna in protest against the attack. Adequate security arrangements were made.

Village in Chhattisgarh's Balrampur still awaits power supply

Balrampur (Chhattisgarh), Jun 13 (ANI): No electricity supply has been provided in the Trishuli village of Chhattisgarh's Balrampur district, which has a population of nearly two hundred houses. While speaking to ANI, locals of Trishuli village in Balrampur said, "Till date electricity has not reached our village, there are around 100 houses here. Our children can't study after sun sets due to lack of electricity. We have written to the collector." The collector of the district informed that the electricity will be provided to the villagers soon.

Cyclone Vayu: Heavy rain, strong winds hit coastal parts in Gujarat

Somnath (Gujarat), Jun 13 (ANI): Severe cyclonic storm Vayu changed its trajectory overnight and moved further into the sea, bringing much-needed relief to the people in the coastal areas of Gujarat, where it was earlier predicted to make landfall on Thursday. Heavy rain and strong winds grips coastal parts of Somnath due to cyclone Vayu. Strong winds also hit Valsad region in Gujarat. Sea turned rough. As per latest update of IMD, Cyclone Vayu will not hit Gujarat, but will have effect on coastal districts.

ISIS module case: Local police conduct inquiry after NIA raids in TN's Coimbatore

Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Vayu to skit along Saurashtra Coast: IMD

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) / Porbandar (Gujarat), Jun 13 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, India Meteorological Department (IMD) scientist Manorama Mohanty on Cyclone Vayu said, "Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Vayu to skit along Saurashtra Coast this afternoon with a wind speed 135-160 kmph. Coastal districts Diu, Gir Somnath, Junagarh, Porbandar, Dwarka will be affected. Its effect will be seen on the coastal regions as there will be heavy wind speed and heavy rain as well. Landfall effect will be seen. Cyclone effect will be there till 15th June and Red alert also issued till to 15th June." Around 50 troops of NDRF team have been deployed in Gujarat. They are on alert in coastal regions of Gujarat. Six teams of NDRF are on alert in Porbandar and 30 members are on standby at Chowpatty beach.

Uber Eats to start testing drone delivery

New Delhi, June 13 (ANI): Uber is reportedly gearing up to start testing drone delivery of food orders for its Uber Eats service. According to TechCrunch, the Uber has been awarded the right to test commercial food delivery via drone. The ride-sharing service has completed the initial phase of testing at San Diego State University in partnership with McDonald's and now it plans to include other restaurant partners later this year. Uber's idea of using drones for food delivery is not exactly making drones hover at your doorstep with your favourite pizza, but bringing it at a predetermined drop-off location from where an Eats delivery driver will complete the last mile to hand-deliver the food to you.
