Darjeeling Himalayan Railway toy train engine derails in Kurseong

Kurseong (West Bengal), Apr 06 (ANI): Engine of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) train derailed in Mahanadi village of Kurseong block in Darjeeling on Saturday. The concerned officials reached the spot and took the stock of the situation. Restoration work by the authorities is underway. No loss of life has been reported. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is also known as toy train.

B-town celebrities extend wishes for Gudi Padwa

New Delhi, Apr 06 (ANI): Several Bollywood celebrities took to their social media on Saturday to wish their fans and friends Happy Gudi Padwa, a springtime festival that marks the traditional New Year for Marathis and Konkani Hindus. Dimple Yadav files nomination form UP's Kannauj

Kannauj (Uttar Pradesh), Apr 06 (ANI): Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav filed her nomination in Uttar Pradesh today. New Delhi, Apr 06 (ANI): Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Saturday conducted a press briefing in the national capital. The press briefing was conducted to give detailed information regarding 'Mission Shakti.' DRDO chief G. Satheesh Reddy gave brief elaboration about the successful mission. During the press briefing, DRDO also released a presentation on 'Mission Shakti.' On March 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India had achieved a "historic feat" by shooting down its own low-orbit satellite with a ground-to-space missile, making the country a "space power". Only three other countries, US, Russia and China - have anti-satellite missile (ASAT) capabilities.

LS polls: Didn't take decision to leave BJP overnight says, Shatrughan Sinha

Amazon is working on Apple Air Pods rival: Report

New Delhi, Apr 06, (ANI) - After Apple introduced hands-free access to Siri through Air Pods 2, Amazon is set to follow suit. The company is reportedly working on bringing its own wireless ear buds that will also be the first Alexa wearable. Alexa, Amazon's voice-based digital assistant, is powering a lot of smart internet-connected devices. However, it has not been integrated with ear buds before. The purported Alexa ear buds are expected to take on the design and features of the Apple Air Pods, but offer enhanced audio quality, Bloomberg reports. It will come in a storage case that will double as a charger. To activate the virtual assistant, users will have to simply say "Alexa". In addition to voice support, the ear buds are also expected to support gesture controls for taking calls and skipping music tracks.
