Govt makes concrete bunkers for safety of locals living near LoC

Rajouri (Jammu and Kashmir), Mar 18 (ANI): Government is building concrete bunkers for people living near Line of Control (LoC) in the wake of continuous ceasefire violation by Pakistan. The safe shelter are provided by Central and state Government. India-Pakistan standoff results in loss of many luves and livestocks during the times of shelling. Aijaz Asad, DDC, Rajouri said that central government has found a permanent solution for people living near border areas.

NCP leader DP Tripathi tells Congress, RJD to back off from Katihar LS seat in Bihar

New Delhi, Mar 17 (ANI): Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader DP Tripathi on Sunday said that the party would not let go the one Lok Sabha seat it has in Bihar, and demanded Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress to not field their candidates on the Katihar Lok Sabha seat. "We had 1 seat in Katihar and that's all we're asking for. Soon we will announce our candidate from Katihar. It's our seat. So what if Tariq Anwar has joined Congress? It is not his personal property, Katihar was our seat. Congress has to decide," Tripathi told ANI.

Over 150 bikes gutted in godown fire in Maharashtra's Solapur

Minor girl gang raped in UP's Moradabad, 4 arrested

Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 17 (ANI): In a horrific incident, a minor girl in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad was allegedly gang raped by four men. All four have been arrested by the police. The incident took place when the 16-year-old was leaving her house to use a nearby toilet, where the men abducted her and gang raped her in the field. The police was fortunately on patrolling and reached the spot to arrest the culprits after the girl screamed for help.

Job fair held in J-K's Doda

Doda (J-K), Mar 17 (ANI): District Development Commissioner of Doda, Dr. Doifode Sagar, today inaugurated a job fair organised by the District Employment and Counseling Centre. More than 500 students took part in it, which was organised in Doda district of J-K. Dozens of stalls were set up in the fair to create awareness about self-employment schemes.
