'I've been framed once again': Kafeel Khan on his arrest

Mumbai, Jan 30 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) arrested Doctor Kafeel Khan from Mumbai on January 30 over provocative speech during anti-CAA protest at Aligarh Muslim University. On this, he alleged that UP Government is trying to frame him in the BRD Medical children death case. "I was given a clean chit in Gorakhpur children death case, now they are trying to frame me again. I request Maharashtra Govt to let me stay in Maharashtra, I don't trust Uttar Pradesh Police," said Dr Kafeel.

Mask manufacturing surges in Tamil Nadu over coronavirus outbreak

Madurai (Tamil Nadu), Jan 30 (ANI): Mask manufacturing industry boomed in Tamil Nadu's Madurai in view of coronavirus outbreak that originated from China's Wuhan. Masks are being exported from Tamil Nadu to meet high demand in China. Labourers are working extra hours in manufacturing units. Suspected cases of coronavirus have emerged in parts of India as well.

North 24 Parganas (West Bengal), Jan 30 (ANI): West Bengal's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Dilip Ghosh sparked controversy by saying that West Bengal is turning into Pakistan. Equity indices fall mirroring global stocks, Yes Bank top loser

New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices were on a downswing during early hours on Thursday as concerns over the spread of coronavirus from China sent investors heading for safer bets. At 10:15 am, the BSE S and P Sensex was down by 235 points to 40,963 while the Nifty 50 dipped by 67 points at 12,063. Among stocks, Yes Bank showed a decline of 3.8 per cent at Rs 39.60 per share after India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) maintained its long-term issuer rating of A on rating watch negative (RWN) and withdrew its shortterm issuer rating of A1.

'If you build Ram Temple, we'll build Babri Masjid': Farhan Azmi on Uddhav's Ayodhya visit

Mumbai, Jan 30 (ANI): Speaking at an event, Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Abu Azmi's son and businessman, Farhan Azmi said that if CM Uddhav Thackeray will build lord Ram's Temple at Ayodhya then he will build Babri Masjid there. He said, "My problem is with Uddhav Thackeray. I respect him a lot and if in Shiv Sena somebody really deserves respect, then it is no other than Uddhav Thackeray. He never runs a government and I don't think he is running his party correctly. If being the Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray says he is going to Ayodhya on 7th March, I will also go with him. He will build lord Ram's Temple and we will build Babri Masjid."

'I appeal to court to hang convicts on decided date': Nirbhaya's Mother

New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): Nirbhaya's mother, Asha Devi reacted over convict Vinay Kumar Sharma mercy petition in front of the President. Asha Devi said, "Somewhere it is our law that is helping all these convicts to delay the hanging, I appeal to the court to hang them on the decided date." Vinay Kumar Sharma, one of the four convicts in the Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case, has filed a mercy petition.

UNESCO should be careful about how China is handling Potala Palace as it is a world heritage site.""This is one opportunity, so they are just playing the politics on his holiness palace.
