Man rapes 8-year-old daughter multiple times in MP's Neemuch, arrested

Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh), Dec 14 (ANI): A man was arrested for sexually assaulting his own 8-year-old daughter in Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch. Neemuch Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Rakesh Mohan Shukla said, "Child line's Counsellor talked to the girl after receiving a phone call. It was found that 3 years back her mother had left them. Her father works as a labourer and sexually assaults her at night after consuming alcohol. FIR has been registered and the man has been arrested." He further added, "Girl was sent for medical exam and sexual assault was proven. Accused Ramesh Deora has been arrested. SIT is formed and investigation in the matter is on."

Assamese sit on 'dharna' against CAA in Mumbai

Mumbai, Dec 14 (ANI): People of Assam, living in Mumbai, staged a protest against Citizenship Amendment Act on Dec 14. They sat on 'dharna' at Azad Maidan. Red sandalwood smuggling racket busted in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 14 (ANI): A special operations team of Rachakonda has busted an inter-state red sandalwood smuggling racket in Hyderabad. The special operations team of LB Nagar Zone in Rachakonda has busted the gang with the help of Hayathnagar Police. Two persons have been arrested and around 137 kg of red sandalwood logs have also been seized from their custody.

Re-postmortem of Ayesha Meera, killed in 2007, conducted after exhuming mortal remains

Tenali (Andhra Pradesh), Dec 14 (ANI): The re-postmortem of Ayesha Meera, who was killed in 2007, was conducted in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur district on December 13. Her re-postmortem was conducted after exhuming her mortal remains from Chenchupet burial ground in Tenali. She was found murdered in her hostel's bathroom in 2007. One Satyam Babu was sentenced to life term in the case and was later acquitted by High Court in 2017. The High Court had ordered for CBI inquiry on November 29, 2018 and CBI had started its inquiry in January 2019.

Valedictory ceremony of Combat Aviators conduct in Maharashtra's Nashik

Nashik (Maharashtra), Dec 14 (ANI): The valedictory ceremony of combat aviators was conducted in Maharashtra's Nashik on December 14. The event took place at Combat Army Aviation Training School (CATS) which is located at Gandhi Nagar Airfield in Nashik. The ceremony was presided over by Major General AK Suri, Additional Director General Army Aviation. 43 officers were awarded the coveted 'Aviation Wings' to become Combat Helicopter Pilots after having successfully completed the Combat Aviators Course Serial Number 32. Seven officers from the Army Aviation Corps were awarded the 'Aviation Instructor Badge' for having successfully qualified the Aviation Helicopter Instructor Course Serial Number 31. The ceremony was marked by a combat of demonstration by the mainstay aircrafts of the Army Aviation Corps.

Woman commits suicide in Noida after husband jumped before metro train

Noida (UP), Dec 14 (ANI): A woman and her daughter allegedly committed suicide in Uttar Pradesh's Noida on December 13 after her husband also committed suicide by jumping before a metro train in Delhi. They hanged themselves in their house at a residential society. The incident took place in Noida's Sector 128. According to the information by police, the woman's husband had also committed suicide by jumping before a metro train at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Metro Station. While speaking to media on this case, the DSP of GautamBuddha Nagar, Shwetabh Pandey, said, "The woman had gone to identify her husband's body at RML hospital. After returning home, she had locked herself with her daughter in a room." "The brother of the man told us that they were facing financial crunches. The matter is being investigated," he added.

We have heard that tender related to road construction have been passed so I think it will take one year to complete the entire work." "After construction of road in our village we can go anywhere in any season," he added.
