New Delhi, Apr 26 (ANI): The COVID-imposed lockdown has extended in the national capital. Police personnel kept strict surveillance in Delhi and kept a tab over vehicular movement in the city. Lockdown has been imposed to control the spread of COVID-19 and will continue till 5 am of 03rd May. On April 25, Delhi reported 22,933 new cases, 350 deaths in a day.

Out of the five arrested on Saturday, three were arrested for black marketing of Remdesivir injection while the other two were arrested for involvement in selling fake injection as the anti-viral drug used in curing COVID-19 infected patients. The demand for Remdesivir injections has been rising amid the surge in COVID-19 cases in the country.
Buckinghamshire (UK), Apr 25 (ANI): Britain on April 25 announced to send life-saving medical equipments to India as the COVID-19 situation has gone out of control in the country. UK government is sending over 600 medical devices including oxygen concentrators and ventilators to India to assist in fight against pandemic. Equipments were loaded in a truck in Buckinghamshire's Milton Keynes.

He also urged people, who test positive, to get in touch with local doctors as all doctors know COVID protocol. "As soon as your RT-PCR report comes positive, my advice would be to consult your local doctor with whom you're in touch. New Delhi, Apr 25 (ANI): Amid the shortage of anti-viral drug Remdesivir in the country in wake of devastating COVID-19 situation, AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) Director Randeep Guleria said Remdesivir is not a "magic bullet", and the anti-viral drug is given to only those patients who are hospitalised. "Remdesivir not a magic bullet, it's given to only patients who are hospitalised, have moderate to severe disease and whose oxygen saturation is below 93...Don't misuse Oxygen and Remdesivir. Most patients can recover by isolating at home," Guleria said during conference with three other India's top doctors who addressed issues related to COVID-19 situation.
