New Delhi, Mar 02 (ANI): Facebook's 3D photos feature now supports shots taken from single-lens camera smartphones. In an official blog, Facebook announced that its 3D photos feature relied on dual-lens 'portrait mode' to offer immersive pictures. Now, the technology has been improved to deliver 3D structure to photos captured from single, rear-facing camera phones. To bring the capability to Android or iOS devices with standard single-lens cameras, Facebook used machine learning techniques to produce 3D Photos from any standard 2D picture. Apple iPhone 7 or higher, or any mid-range Android device can now try 3D Photos in the Facebook app.
New Delhi, Mar 01 (ANI): Public Relations Officer of Delhi Police, MS Randhawa reacted over rumours of unrest in Delhi. MS Randhawa said that the situation is normal in whole of Delhi. "It has been observed that some anti-social elements are spreading rumours to disturb peace. People are advised to neither spread nor trust the rumours. Law and Order situation of the whole city is under control" said Delhi Police. "A rumor has been noticed that there is some tension in Khyala-Raghubir Nagar area of West District. There is no truth behind it. All are requested to keep calm as the situation is absolutely normal and peaceful" said Deputy Commissioner of Police, West Delhi
Agra (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 01 (ANI): Rapidly changing season is putting farmers of North India in trouble. Standing crop of mustard and potato got damaged due to hailstorm and heavy rains. A farmer said, "We have lost around 20 Percent on potatoes. The quality of potatoes has deteriorated. The crop of mustard is also in loss." The farmers are bearing around 20-30 percent loss. Scattered rains and thundershowers have occurred in several parts of North India.
Guwahati (Assam), Mar 01 (ANI): Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reacted over delimitation process in the state. The Finance Minister of the state said, "We hope that this delimitation ensures that political rights of indigenous communities of Assam are protected." "We want to see that we don't lose any seats when the delimitation report is published. Assam should be governed by indigenous people," the minister further said. In an order, the ministry of Law and Justice said, "It appears that the circumstances that led to the deferring of the delimitation exercise in the State of Assam have ceased to exist and that the delimitation of the constituencies as envisaged under the Delimitation Act, 2002 could be carried out now."
New Delhi, Mar 01 (ANI): Delhi Police PRO, MS Randhawa said that the situation is now normal in North-East region of Delhi and police is closely monitoring the situation. He said, "Situation is normal now in the North-East District. Relaxation has been given in places where Section 144 is imposed, more will be given in coming days. We are closely monitoring social media, special cell has blocked several handles."
Patna, Mar 01 (ANI): Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar on March 01 addressed Karykarta Sammelan at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Addressing the rally, Kumar said, "We will contest Bihar Assembly Elections with NDA (National Democratic Alliance) and win more than 200 seats." New Delhi, Mar 01 (ANI): Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Arjun Ram Meghwal reacted over opposition's demand of debate over Delhi violence in Parliament session (March 02). He said that there should be a debate over the issue but opposition should not play politics over Delhi violence in the session. "Opposition members are giving notices to raise the issue of Delhi violence in the Parliament session starting tomorrow (March 02). There should be a debate on how we can ensure that this doesn't happen again. But opposition should not play politics," said Meghwal. Over 40 people lost their lives in Northeast Delhi violence. The violence broke out between new citizenship law's supporters and people who were against it, but later turned communal.
New Delhi, Mar 01 (ANI): Former Union Law Minister and Congress leader Ashwani Kumar on March 01 said that party leader Rahul Gandhi should return as president of Congress, in view of the deteriorating political situation in the country. He said his wife and four children are missing while he is forced to sleep on roadside. He narrated the series of events when his family was separated from him. He said, "I will tell you clearly. When the riots broke out, I came here with my trolley. I asked my wife to leave with four children. Same day I got ration worth Rupees 2000. My wife gave me 500 bucks for my shroud in case I die." One of the locals said, "He (trolley puller) is saying that his wife and children are missing. Last night, I gave him blanket, clothes and food. The place where he lived has been completely burnt, nothing is left." More than 40 people have lost lives in deadly violence of North-East Delhi which broke out last week. Delhi Police has formed 2 SITs to investigate the case.
