Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 22 (ANI): Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi party leader Akhilesh Yadav hit out at current Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over rising death toll during protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act across the state. "As far as riots are concerned, those inciting riots are sitting in the government itself. Only those sitting in the government will be benefitted by riots. PMC Bank depositors protest in Lokhandwala

Mumbai, Dec 22 (ANI): Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative (PMC) Bank depositors on December 22 protested in Lokhandwala area in Mumbai, demanding the release of their money from the scam-ridden bank. CAA protests: Curfew relaxed in Mangaluru till 6:00 pm

Eco-friendly waste disposal system installed in JandK's Udhampur

Udhampur (JandK), Dec 22 (ANI): With an aim to dispose the solid waste of Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district, an eco-friendly 'Kill Waste, Fuel Free Solid Waste Disposal System' was installed which functions without fuel and electricity. The system was installed on December 21 which is different from the conventional plants as it requires minimum investment and no fuel. The plant was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Udhampur, Dr Piyush Singla. While speaking to ANI, Piyush Singla said, "It is important for us because Udhampur does not have any permanent landfills sight. Since the last seven months, we have been working on it. A district committee was formed and representatives of the urban local body were part of it. This plant has been set up through a tendering process. In this, there is no need for fuel, electricity. CAA protests: Won't allow TMC leaders in Lucknow due to Sec-144 restrictions, says UP DGP

Lucknow (UP), Dec 22 (ANI): Uttar Police is all set to stop Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders to enter in State's capital Lucknow where Section 144 is in place. "We have come to know that some political leaders of TMC want to visit here (Lucknow). The advance directive has been moved in the Chandigarh District Court. While speaking to ANI, Professor DN Jauhar said, "Passive euthanasia has become legal now." "You have to execute a document known as advance directive. You can call this living will, although this word has not been used in the judgement. We are perhaps the first people to move an advance directive," he added.
