Meet Chennai astronomer who helped NASA locate Vikram Lander

Chennai, Dec 03 (ANI): Shanmuga Subramanian, an amateur astronomer from Chennai helped National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) located Chandrayaan-2's Vikram Lander on surface of the moon. NASA shared this information on its twitter handle. The picture indicated the impact spot of the Lander and associated debris field created by the crash with blue and green dots. While speaking to ANI he said, "I was able to find something out of the ordinary in a particular spot, so, I thought this must be the debris. I got confirmation from NASA on Dec 03."

New Delhi, Dec 03 (ANI): Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today addressed India-Sweden Business Summit. She said, "We are going through a phase of responding to challenges Indian industries are facing." FM Sitharaman further supported government's fiscal steps taken between budgets during India-Sweden business summit on December 03. "Before budget 2020, we took a call that fiscal rewarding step we had to project didn't have to wait. Therefore, corporate tax cut was taken between two budgets. This step has made the Indian industry understand that this government commitment towards reform is very clearly laid out," she further added. India-Sweden business summit was inaugurated in the presence of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.

Minor girl allegedly raped in MP's Mandsaur

Mandsaur (MP), Dec 03 (ANI): A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur on December 02. Skill development centre opened for specially-abled in J and K's Rajouri

Rajouri (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec 03 (ANI): A 'Skill Development Centre for Specially Abled Persons' was inaugurated in JandK's Rajouri on Dec 02. The motive is to boost employment opportunities among the persons with disabilities. Strict action will be taken against whoever responsible for Sarkeguda encounter: CM Baghel

Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Dec 03 (ANI): At least 17 villagers were killed in Sarkeguda area of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh about seven year ago and the judicial commission report has come out to the media. The reports say there is no evidence that the 17 people killed were Maoists and it has detected manipulation in probe after the killings. Speaking on the matter Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, "Strict action will be taken against whoever is responsible for this. The procedure is to table it (judicial commission report) before the assembly and then it is examined by the law department." "After that a committee is constituted and which will decide what actions should be taken against whom. There is no question of sparing anyone in this case," he added.
