Islamabad (Pakistan), Sep 30 (ANI): Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi announced that his country will extend a formal invitation to former prime minister Manmohan Singh for the inaugural ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor. He said, "We would like to extend an invitation to former Indian PM Manmohan Singh for the inauguration function of Kartarpur Corridor. He also represents the Sikh community. We will also send him a formal invitation." Pakistan will open the Kartarpur Corridor for Indian pilgrims on November 9, three days before the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.
New Delhi, Sep 30 (ANI): Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari hits back on Arvind Kejriwal's statement over free healthcare in Delhi, and said that Arvind Kejriwal is a 'purvanchal hater'. "We have Prime Minister Narendra Modi's healthcare scheme worth 5 lakh (Ayushmaan Bharat Scheme). Why not he implemented the scheme in Delhi", Manoj Tiwari further added. On September 29, Arvind Kejriwal said, "One person from Bihar buys a ticket to Delhi for Rs 500, returns after availing free treatment worth Rs 5 lakhs. While it makes us happy as they are people of our own country, but Delhi has its own capacity. How can Delhi serve people of entire country?"

Wardha (Maharashtra), Sep 30 (ANI): A khadi industry has been established in Maharashtra's Wardha to empower the women at large scale. This industry has been set up with a motive to promote khadi products and also to provide employment opportunities to the women. While speaking to ANI, the Project Head of khadi industry Poornima Rohan Bhamkar said, "Khadi and Wardha have a unique relation. Wardha city is famous after Gandhiji and he did a campaign on khadi." "So far we have employed around 60 women of rural areas," he added. Meanwhile, one of the Industrialist Rohan Bhamkar said, "We wish to take khadi at a global level. The women over here prepare designer shirts and other items."
Varanasi (UP)/ Prayagraj (UP), Sep 30 (ANI): Several residential buildings in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi and Prayagraj have been submerged due to the rise in water level of Ganga River. Water level rose to a significant high as the state received heavy downpour. Rescue teams are present on the spot. Current situation has thrown normal life out of gear as streets were flooded in several parts of UP.
Patna (Bihar), Sep 30 (ANI): Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Sushil Kumar Modi was rescued by NDRF from his residence. The condition is so worse that flood water has entered in residence of several ministers. Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has called a meeting with officials of flood affected districts. The meeting will be held via video conferencing.
Ballia (UP), Sep 30 (ANI): Following incessant rain in the region, Uttar Pradesh's Ballia is facing flood-like situation in the region. The Ballia Jail is also facing the intensity of flood as the floodwater entered in jail barracks. Seeing the situation, the inmates of the jail are being shifted to different jails. According to, "Around 500 inmates are being sent to Azamgarh Jail and others are shifted to Ambedkar Nagar Jail." Jail administration is taking help of roadways and private buses to shift the jail inmates.

New Delhi, Sep 30 (ANI): Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports with independent charge, Kiren Rijiju reacted on the ongoing speculations that BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) will come under RTI (Right to Information Act, 2005). Rijiju said, "There should be transparency in every sports organization and federation." On being asked whether RTI would be the next step for BCCI after the sports body came under National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) ambit. He said, "Whatever public money we have or whatever fund we organise or arrange needs to be managed in proper manner." He also talked about adoption of SAI centers saying, "Sports centers can be taken over by security forces (BSF, CRPF, Assam Rifles, ITBP). The security forces, they have some discipline in their culture, so they can create better sports culture there. My only objective is to increase the sports facilities, sports culture and performance," Rijiju further added.

Imphal (Manipur), Sep 30 (ANI): Locals of Manipur celebrated 'Mera Chaorel Houba' festival with great fervour. It began on September 20 and will continue till October 06. New Delhi, Sep 30 (ANI): Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria paid tribute at the National War Memorial in Delhi on Sep 30. He took charge as IAF Chief today. Bhadauria is the 26th Chief of the Air Staff of IAF. He succeeded Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa. While speaking to ANI on Rafal, Bhadauria said, "Rafale is a very capable aircraft. It will be a game changer in our operational capability. It will give India an edge over Pakistan and China."
Patna (Bihar), Sep 30 (ANI): Heavy rainfall led to flood-like situation in Patna. According to Bihar State Disaster Management Authority, at least 29 people have died due to rainfall. Principal Secretary Disaster Management of Bihar, Pratyaya Amrit gave deets on the measure for controlling flood. He said, "We're working to fulfill demand of drinking water in flood-affected areas. We're trying to restore power supply in affected areas. Also, we've asked for 2 high-power intensity pumping machines from Coal India to pump out flood water." Bihar government also has asked Indian Air Force for two helicopters for lifting and airdropping food packets and medicines in the flood-affected areas of Patna.
Jodhpur (Rajasthan), Sep 30 (ANI): The life of a 4-year-old girl child was miraculously saved by a local in Rajasthan's Jodhpur on September 29. He safeguard the girl while she was about to drown in the manhole chamber. The lid of the manhole chamber was open in the area while this incident occurred. For more than a week, the lid of manhole chamber is open and locals are complaining about it to the administration. While speaking to ANI, one of the local said, "This is hometown of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot but the situation over here is worst." "So, we request to the local administration that the pending work should be done as soon as possible so that no such incident will get repeated in the future," he added.

On being asked if IAF is better prepared to carry out another Balakot like strike in future, RKS Bhadauria said, "We were prepared then, we will be prepared next time. We will be ready to face any challenge, any threat." On reports of Pakistan reactivating Balakot terror camps, he said, "We are aware of the reports and we will take necessary action as and when required." On being asked about Pakistan PM Imran Khan's warning of nuclear war with India, Bhadauria said, "That is their understanding of nuclear aspects. We have our own understanding, our own analysis. We will be ready to face any challenge."
