New Delhi, Sep 29 (ANI): iOS 13 updates brought with it a range of improvements but also a number of bugs related to battery, iPhone restore, and more. As CNBC reports, Apple has released the iOS 13.1.1 update, fixing a bug that resulted in keyboard extensions being granted full access even if access is not approved. The latest update also fixes issues related to iPhone restoring, battery drain, Siri, Safari search, and Reminders sync. The update can be downloaded in the Settings app.

"We assure nothing will happen to you, come out as the 15 minute time given to you is over," said SSP Sharma using a microphone from outside the spot where terrorist was hiding. Security forces eliminated three terrorists in Batote town of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir on September 28. One Army personnel also lost his life while two policemen got injured during the encounter. The lone civilian hostage, captured by the terrorists in a civilian house, was also evacuated by the security forces.
Thrissur (Kerala), Sep 29 (ANI): Meet a woman cop form Kerala's Thrissur who donated her long hair for making wigs for cancer patients. Senior civil police officer Aparna Lavakumar is currently making headlines for her great initiative. Aparna's family also supports her for this tremendous effort. "I did it for the cancer patients. It was my wish so I donated my hair," she told to mediaperson. In 2016 Aparna also donated her hair for the same cause.
Umroi (Meghalaya), Sep 28 (ANI): An IAF Mi-17 took part in Indo-Thailand Joint Exercise MAITREE 2019 at Umroi Military Station on Sep 28. The helicopter inserted mixed sticks comprised of Indian Army and Royal Thai Army soldiers into mock operational area. Exercise MAITREE is an annual training event which is being conducted alternatively in Thailand and India since 2006.

Bengaluru, Sep 28 (ANI): Karnataka Congress president Dinesh Gundu Rao on Saturday slammed disqualified MLA ST Somashekhar for calling him an incapable party president and said that the ex-MLA is speaking things out of frustration. "Somashekhar left the Congress because he was sold dreams by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Now, it has been months and he is frustrated as none of the dreams have been fulfilled so far," added Rao. Yesterday (September 27), Somashekhar launched a scathing attack at Congress leadership in Karnataka, blamed Siddaramaiah and Dinesh Gundu Rao for the downfall of Congress-JDS coalition government in the state.
Palampur (Himachal Pradesh), Sep 28 (ANI): The family members of Lieutenant Colonel Rajneesh Parmar mourned his death in Himachal Pradesh's Palampur on September 28. He lost his life in Indian Army helicopter crash in Bhutan on September 27. Two pilots-one from the Indian Army and one from the Bhutanese Army died on the spot. While speaking to ANI, father of slain soldier Lt Col Rajneesh Parmar said, "This is an irreparable loss. It was his birthday yesterday, we had called him in the morning but he was busy, he just said 'Thanks Papa, I will speak to you in the evening'." The chopper, Indian Military Training Team's Cheetah, was en-route from Khirmu (Arunachal Pradesh) to Yongphulla (Bhutan) on duty when it crashed into a hill at around 1:00 pm.

Ramban (J and K), Sep 28 (ANI): The exchange of fire which took place in Batote town of J and K's Ramban after two suspicious individuals tried to stop a civilian vehicle, has now reached a civilian house in the area where five terrorists are said to be trapped by security forces. The trapped terrorists have taken one person in the house as hostage, even as the rest of the civilians in the house and nearby areas have been evacuated. One of the locals told ANI, "Three people in civil dress and guns in hands went to a neighbouring house. All the members of their families came out. Their father is held in the house. Army personnel just rescued us. Firing is underway."
Hapur (Uttar Pradesh), Sep 28 (ANI): A python was rescued in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district on September 27. The python was seen in a farm of Wajheelpur village in Hapur district. Later, the python was released in a jungle by the workers of forest department.

"A drive will be conducted between now and first week of October so that all requirements are met and payments are done before October 15," FM Sitharaman added.
