Manoj Tiwari calls return of odd-even scheme in Delhi a political stunt

New Delhi, Sep 13 (ANI): BJP Delhi president Manoj Tiwari slammed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for announcing the return of odd-even traffic scheme from November 4-15, and termed the decision a "political stunt" for the assembly elections next year. "He comes up with schemes every now and then as a part of his election stunt. If he knows that in November the remains of crops are burnt, then why he didn't implement odd-even scheme, every year in the month of November, said BJP leader Manish Tiwari.

CPM, SFI stage protest against 'unemployment' in West Bengal

Mother alleges daughter held captive by husband in Indonesia, urges EAM to rescue her

While speaking to ANI, Heena's mother Nazma Begum said, "Four years ago my daughter Heena, married Fazul and they resided here for two years after their marriage. Soon they were blessed with a baby boy. Later, my son-in-law took my daughter and her son to Indonesia on the pretext of a vacation for one month. It's been three years now, he didn't come back neither he sent my daughter and held her captive there illegally." "I have written a letter to the External Affairs Minister (EAM), S Jaishankar and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and appealed them to rescue my daughter and bring her back," she added. College bans entry of girl students wearing 'burqa' in UP's Firozabad

Firozabad (Uttar Pradesh), Sep 13 (ANI): A college in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad district has banned entry of girl students wearing Islamic hijab or burqa. The decision came in the wake of a clash between two student groups. Some students were allegedly denied entry to SRK College because they were wearing burqa. The management of SRK College has justified the ban saying anti-social elements freely enter the college premises and create trouble. The college administration has also set a dress code for students. While speaking to media, Principal of SRK College said, "It is an old order that students have to wear uniform and carry ID card. Burqa isn't included in uniform. Now, this order is being implemented."

Nation bids farewell to 'Lord Ganesh' with religious fervour
