New Delhi, Sep 09 (ANI): Shashi Tharoor, Congress leader on Pakistan to raise Jammu and Kashmir issue at UNHRC said Pakistan has no right to bring an action as far as India's internal matters are concerned. While speaking to the media, Tharoor said, "Pakistan has no locus standi as far as India's internal matters are concerned. We are in opposition, we can criticise the govt but outside India, we are one. We won't give even an inch to Pakistan." Pakistan Foreign Minister is likely to address the issue of Kashmir at UNHRC meeting, according to the reports by Pakistan media.
Kupwara (JandK), Sep 09 (ANI): The Indian Army foiled an infiltration attempt by a Pakistani BAT (Border Action Team) squad along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. The action was performed by the Indian Army on the first week of August month. In the video taken by the Army's quadcopter, bodies of eliminated Pakistani Army regulars, terrorists along with equipment can be seen.

New Delhi [India], Sept 7 (ANI): United States' Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster on Friday hosted a cultural diplomacy event celebrating Indian culture with a special Kuchipudi dance performance featuring Y. Lalitha Sindhuri. During the event, Juster welcomed Indian cultural enthusiasts to Roosevelt House, the chief diplomatic residence of the US ambassador, in the US Embassy. The programme celebrated the 230th anniversary of the Department of State in India along with 225th year of US' presence in the country. "One of the most important aspects of the relationship between India and the US is the cultural programme and what we share together. We want to highlight this evening with Lalita's performance and noteworthy is that she is a Fullbright fellow," Juster told ANI. Belgaum (Karnataka), Sep 09 (ANI): Youth killed his father allegedly for disallowing him to play PUBG game. The incident took place at Siddheshwar Nagar area of Karnataka's Belgaum. The deceased has been identified as Shankar, while the accused as Raghuveer Kumbar. Deceased Shankar had retired from police service just three months ago. Further investigation is on.

Munnar (Kerala), Sep 09 (ANI): A one-year-old girl child had fallen out of a moving car in Kerala's Munnar region of Idukki district on September 08. The child's parents did not know that their child was not there in the car and she had fallen. This entire incident was captured in CCTV. The girl child was later rescued and handed over to the parents.
New Delhi, September 9 (ANI): West District Delhi Police solved Naraina Vihar dacoity case by arresting all the six robbers. During the course of investigation CCTV Footage of the area were collected and analyzed. After the detailed analysis of CDR, CCTV footage of one of the accused namely Md Razi was identified. After sustained interrogation he disclosed that he committed this robbery along with his associates. Different teams were constituted and constant raids were conducted as a result his associates.Police recovered a country made pistol, Jewellery and one lakh cash robbers' possession.

He said, "There is still an opportunity for Pakistan to mend its ways, otherwise even this opportunity will slip away." He further added, "It is not new that Pakistan has been sending infiltrators in India for increasing terror activities. Indian Army is actively retaliating to such activities. Bhawanipatna (Odisha), Sep 09 (ANI): The agrarian festival of 'Nuakhai' was celebrated with traditional fervour in Odisha. This festival is a 40-day celebration which is done in four phases. 'Nuakhai' festival is mainly celebrated in parts of Western Odisha. The first phase began in three villages as per tradition of Old Kalahandi kingdom. It is believed that a tribal chief of Patharla helped the Kalahandi king in a war and after getting pleased with their service, the king wanted to reward them. Instead of asking for material gifts, the tribal chief requested the Maharaja to allow them to offer Nabanna (new rice) to their presiding deity first on Nuakhai. The king allowed them to do so as a mark of gratitude and ever since, the tribals are allowed to offer Nabanna to the deity first. Bhawanipatana was the old capital of Kalahandi Maharaja. People celebrate this festival while playing traditional drums and also perform Ghumura dance on this occasion.
New Delhi, Sep 09 (ANI): Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar addressed a press conference on September 08 in the national capital and on that occasion he said that the biggest decision by way of revoking Article 370 and Article 35A was to ensure that Jammu and Kashmir is no longer sequestered from rest of the country.
