No decline in sales of vehicles in Bihar: Sushil Modi

Patna (Bihar), Sep 03 (ANI): Speaking at an event in Patna, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Sushil Modi said that there is no economic slowdown in Bihar. He said, "Some people are saying the economy is facing a slowdown, it's true that there has been a decline in the automobile sector. However, there has been no decline in sales of vehicles in Bihar, sales have increased compared to the last year." He further added, "I was reading in a newspaper that people have stopped buying biscuits, sales of a brand of biscuit have dropped. However, when I spoke to the biscuit manufacturers of Bihar they told me sales have increased in the state and the country."

4-storey building collapses in Delhi's Seelampur, several feared trapped

Tibetan govt in exile celebrates 59th Democracy Day in Dharamshala

Dargah in Kalaburgi spreading peace and harmony

Kalaburgi (Karnataka), Sep 02 (ANI): Located in the Kalaburgi district of Karnataka, the dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Banda Nawaz Gaisu Daraz is one of the most revered Sufi shrines in the country. Said to be a famous Sufi saint of the Chisti order, Gaisu Daraz was the disciple of the noted Sufi saint of Delhi, Nasiruddin Chiragh Dehlavi, after whose death he took over the mantle of the successor. Born in Delhi in 1321, he shifted to Maharashtra along with his family at the age of four and in 1397; he went to Kalaburgi at the invitation of Sultan Taj-ud din Firuz Shah. Muslims help perform last rites of Kashmiri Pandit in Pulwama

These words were recently proved right during the funeral of a Kashmiri pandit, Rattan Lal, when his Muslim neighbours gathered at his residence in Murran village of Pulwama to perform his last rites. Around 2000 in number, they not just provided their condolences to the Lal's family but also did all the arrangements of his funeral that too in accordance with Hindu rituals, setting a great example of communal harmony. Besides doing all the arrangements, they even helped the Lal's family in carrying his body to the cremation pyre. HM Amit Shah seeks blessings of Lalbaugcha Raja

Police-public meeting organized in North-West district of Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 2 (ANI): A police-public meeting with an aim to further strengthen the law and order in the National Capital Territory of Delhi was organised in Model Town by North- West District Police. Keeping a special focus on women safety, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijayanta Arya educated women about the mobile application Himmat.
