Amritsar (Punjab), Oct 11 (ANI): On October 11, 'Rail Roko' agitation entered 18th day in Amritsar. The protest is led by Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee against new farm laws. "The protest has extended till October 14 and we will continue it," State Secretary of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, Sarvan Singh Pandher said to ANI. New Delhi, Oct 11 (ANI): An ambulance driver who served COVID-19 patients by carrying their corpses to crematorium died of coronavirus. Arif Khan resiliently redeemed his duties and carried bodies of COVID-19 patients to crematorium got infected from the invisible enemy and succumbed to the virus. In COVID times, several family members unfortunately didn't accept bodies of their loved ones, who died from the virus but Arif carried the bodies and performed their last rites with his fellow drivers of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal. Arif got infected from the virus on October 1 and was admitted to hospital after testing positive of COVID-19. He came home but again admitted to hospital and succumbed to virus on October 10. Arif will be remembered as a true COVID warrior in memories of people to whom he served.
Srinagar (J-K), Oct 11 (ANI): People in large numbers participated in the 'Pedal for Peace' cycle race organized by J-K's police in Srinagar on October 11. The Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Khan and IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar flagged off sub junior boys/girls and veteran men categories in Nehru Park. People in large numbers came out of their cosy beds to participate in the race. Locals lauded administration's initiative to organize cycle race. Ram Vilas Paswan, a Dalit leader who was part of several governments headed by disparate parties, died on Thursday at 74. He was the founder of the Lok Janshakti Party and Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. He had recently undergone a heart operation. President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to Paswan at his residence on Friday.

Delhi/Karipur, Aug 08 (ANI): Death toll in the Air India Express flight crash incident in Kozhikode rose to 18. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Khozikode plane crash said, "18 people including 2 pilots have died in the incident so far. Under the Vande Bharat Mission, the flight was coming from Dubai carrying 190 passengers. Pilot must have tried to bring the flight to the end of tabletop airport's runway where it skidded due to slippery conditions owing to monsoon."

Saifudheen, his wife Fasalunnisa travelled with their children Muhammad Shahil, Fathima Sana and Aysha Shanza to India. They travelled in the Air India flight which unfortunately crashed on the night of August 07. Saifudheen's Nephew informed that all the family members are safe.
Kozhikode (Kerala), Aug 08 (ANI): Death toll in the Air India Express flight crash incident at Kozhikode rose to 16, informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Meanwhile, Kerala Minister AC Moideen reached at spot. Kozhikode Sub Collector, K Gopalakrishnan informed that rescue operations at site have been completed. All injured have been transferred to hospitals in Malappuram and Kozhikode. Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri informed that two investigation teams of professionals from Air India, Airports Authority of India and Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) will leave for Kozhikode at 02.00 hrs and 05.00 hrs.
New Delhi, Jul 14 (ANI): OnePlus has confirmed that the new smartphone OnePlus Nord will have a selfie camera with an ultra-wide 105-degree field of view. According to The Verge, the smartphone manufacturer confirmed the news in a video posted to the Nord's Instagram page. However, it didn't confirm the resolution of the camera. A previous report from Android Central said that the phone will have two selfie cameras: one 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a main 32-megapixel selfie camera. OnePlus has previously shown a prototype device with dual selfie cameras during a documentary about the Nord. In the feature's announcement video, the mobile company positioned the ultra-wide selfie camera as an alternative to using a selfie stick. It means that the feature should be helpful for taking selfies of groups, or just of yourself alongside more of your environment.
