Mumbai, Oct 19 (ANI): Bollywood mega star, Amitabh Bachchan discharged from a hospital in Mumbai on Oct 18 after being admitted here following routine check-ups. The 77-year-old actor had gone for a routine check-up at the hospital after experiencing some health issues on Wednesday. He, however, remained in the hospital for two days before being discharged on late Friday. Big B left hospital with wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek.

According to Air Quality Index (AQI), major pollutants PM 2.5 was at 215 and PM 10 was at 221 on October 19. Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam), Oct 19 (ANI): India's largest passenger carrier IndiGo on Friday commenced direct daily operations between Kolkata and Ho Chi Minh City, the commercial capital of Vietnam. While speaking to ANI, IndiGo's Associate Director, Arvind Bhandari said, "We are launching our second flight to Vietnam. Our first flight response was fantastic and today we are connecting to the second city of Vietnam. We are happy about it." At present, the airline is on a massive international expansion plan. It has already launched 4 flights in the last 5 weeks to Myanmar, China, Vietnam and Kuwait. Currently, it flies to 60 domestic and 23 international routes.

Sitapur/Lucknow (UP), Oct 19 (ANI): Body of Hindu Samaj Party chief Kamlesh Tiwari, who was killed on Friday (October 18) was taken brought to his native place Mahmudabad in Sitapur from the mortuary after Post-Mortem Examination (PME) amid tight security. Tiwari was killed at Naka area of Lucknow on Friday. He was the former leader of Hindu Mahasabha and had founded the Hindu Samaj Party. After being attacked, Tiwari was immediately taken to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries. The assailants managed to flee from the spot. A revolver was also recovered from the site of the crime. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was constituted to investigate Tiwari's murder. Earlier on Friday, Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police OP Singh had said accused knew Tiwari as they spent around 30 minutes with him on the pretext of gifting him sweets. New Delhi, Oct 19 (ANI): In the first-ever survey on milk safety parameters, the top food regulator Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) discovered that about 41 percent samples fell short of some kind of safety parameters. Moreover, seven percent packaged milk samples contained serious health hazard. The milk survey was conducted from May 2018 to 2019, covering all States and Union Territories with the objective of monitoring the safety and quality of liquid milk in the country. About 6,432 Milk samples were taken from across the country for adulteration concern and analysis. Another issue is the presence of antibiotics in the milk. 1.2 per cent of milk samples had shown the indications of antibiotics, according to the survey. In total, seven per cent of the milk samples were found to be unsafe which contained serious health hazard.
