Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera joins Shiv Sena

Mumbai, Oct 19 (ANI): Three days before Assembly polls in Maharashtra, Bollywood actor Salman Khan's long-time aide and bodyguard Gurmeet Singh alias Shera on Friday (October 18) joined Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena took to its official Twitter handle to make the formal announcement. He joined Shiv Sena in presence of party chief Uddhav Thackeray and Yuva Sena President, Aditya Thackeray. Maharashtra will go to polls on October 21 and the counting of votes will take place on October 2

2.6 kg gold worth Rs 1 crore seized from Chennai airport

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Oct 18 (ANI): Around 2.6 kg gold worth Rs 1 crore was recovered by the Commissioner of Customs in Tamil Nadu's Chennai on October 17. The gold was seized at the Chennai International Airport. An unknown amount of US dollars was also seized by the customs department. Further investigation is underway.

Mumbai, Oct 18 (ANI): Congress leader Anand Sharma on October 18 slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi by saying that the latter's goal of making India a dallor 5 trillion economy by 2024 is impossible. Unemployment rate highest in 40 years: Rahul Gandhi targets Modi govt over jobs
