New Delhi, Oct 15 (ANI): PCR of Delhi Police is the first responder to the caller in distress. To felicitate the staff of PCR who had performed the good works, Special Commissioner of Delhi Police Muktesh Chander and Joint Commissioner of Police K Jegadesan distributed commendation certificates. 100 best ones of various ranks were given commendation certificates amongst more than 700 PCR awardees staff present in a ceremony organized at Shah Auditorium, Civil Lines. Srinagar, Oct 15 (ANI): Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah's sister Suraiya and daughter Safiya were detained by police in Srinagar on October 15 for protesting against abrogation of Article 370. They also staged protest against bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories. Several other women activists were also detained during the protest. Several political leaders of Jammu and Kashmir, including former chief ministers Farooq Abdullah, his son Omar Abdullah, as well as former CM Mehbooba Mufti have been placed under detention since August. Central Government scrapped Article 370 that used to give special status to J-K as a state on August 05.

The mystery murders of the family members was not a result of political rivalry as police investigation clarified that there was some financial dispute between the victims teacher and the accused over purchase of a PNB MetLife policy. Superintendent of Police (SP) Murshidabad Mukesh said, "One person Utpal Behrah has been arrested. This person has confessed to his crime.
