Jind (Haryana), Oct 15 (ANI): Gurmeet Goyat aka Goldy Goyat has become a social media sensation in poll-bound Haryana with his interviews on political stalwarts, both within and from outside the state. Goyat who boasts of his own YouTube channel has over lakhs of views on interviews conducted by him. The one where he has interviewed Dushyant Chautala has close to 2 lakh views. Proximity to the political class has its impact too as Goyat, a student of class nine, dreams of making it big in politics too. "It was my grandfather's dream to see me make a name for myself in the society, he has passed away now, I regret he could not see me doing it. NSG celebrates 35th Foundation Day in Haryana's Manesar

Delhi Police felicitate staff of PCR for good works

New Delhi, Oct 15 (ANI): PCR of Delhi Police is the first responder to the caller in distress. To felicitate the staff of PCR who had performed the good works, Special Commissioner of Delhi Police Muktesh Chander and Joint Commissioner of Police K Jegadesan distributed commendation certificates. 100 best ones of various ranks were given commendation certificates amongst more than 700 PCR awardees staff present in a ceremony organized at Shah Auditorium, Civil Lines. The rewards were distributed to PCR personnel who had performed excellent detection work in apprehending the criminals and also displayed humane face by rescuing minors in illegal captivity, persons from burning vehicles and buildings and assisting women in labor pain by timely intervention. Police detains Farooq Abdullah's sister, daughter during protest in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 15 (ANI): Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah's sister Suraiya and daughter Safiya were detained by police in Srinagar on October 15 for protesting against abrogation of Article 370. They also staged protest against bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories. Several other women activists were also detained during the protest. Several political leaders of Jammu and Kashmir, including former chief ministers Farooq Abdullah, his son Omar Abdullah, as well as former CM Mehbooba Mufti have been placed under detention since August. Central Government scrapped Article 370 that used to give special status to J-K as a state on August 05.

WB Governor 'hurt and disturbed' on being sidelined by state govt during Durga Puja

Forest Dept issues alert for poachers in Uttarakhand
