Gonda (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 15 (ANI): A case of medical apathy was reported in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district on October 14. A woman alleged that a unborn baby of her relative died due to medical negligence. The incident took place at District Women Hospital. While speaking to ANI, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Gonda, Dr Anant Prakash Mishra said, "She was referred from UP's Balrampur district. It was a case of intrauterine fetal death." "It wasn't possible to do an operation in Gonda so she was referred to Lucknow," CMO added.

Researchers said the hope is that gene therapy will free patients from nearly monthly eye injections by offering a potential "one-and-done" treatment. It's not just about convenience; a more consistent treatment may also help people keep more of their vision. AMD is a degenerative eye disease that happens when part of the retina is damaged. The damage happens when new, weak blood vessels form behind the retina at the back of the eye. These abnormal vessels leak, causing scarring and killing off the cells that allow us to see. One main reason why is that patients are undertreated. This is because most people with AMD must go to the ophthalmologist's office every four to eight weeks for an injection directly into their eye (oftentimes in both eyes). He was arrested after a brief exchange of fire near Bhalswa landfill at around 9:00 pm. A semi-automatic pistol and live cartridges were recovered from the custody of Pratham Anand.
Mumbai, Oct 15 (ANI): Ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly Elections, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh conducted roadshow in Mumbai on October 14. He held the roadshow in Mumbai's Goregaon area. Defence Minister also campaigned for some of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates in Mumbai. The elections for the 288 Assembly seats in Maharashtra will be held at 96,661 polling stations on October 21. The results of the election will be declared on October 24.

New Delhi, Oct 14 (ANI): National Investigation Agency (NIA) Inspector General Alok Mittal on October 14 said that in three cases related to Agency's ISIS cases, the cases accused have admitted that they were radicalised by Sri Lanka bombing mastermind Zahran Hashim's videos. The three cases were from Kerala and Tamil Nadu. "Hashim as we know is the mastermind of the Easter day bombings in Sri Lanka," said Mittal.

Secretary corporate affairs and Secretary banking will ensure that the data, in desegregated form, is given to these banks. The banks then shall make an attempt to approach all of these MSMEs and ask them if want a bill discounting because that is openly claimed by the companies.
