London (UK), Jun 25 (ANI): The members of Baloch National Movement (BNM) staged a protest in London to demand justice for Baloch women and children, who are facing the wrath of Pakistan Army in Balochistan province of Pakistan. The agitating protestors raised slogans against the Pakistan Army and strongly condemned the atrocities carried out by Army personnel against the Baloch women in Rakshan, Naag area of district Washuk. Activist, Ashraf Sherjan said they were very disappointed by the atrocities committed by the Pakistani Army on Baloch people. The protestors alleged that women in Rakshan were forcibly shifted to army camps, where they were sexually assaulted and tortured by military men.
Coventry (United Kingdom), Jun 24 (ANI): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev conducted Yoga session in United Kingdom's Coventry on Sunday. The session was organised by Consulate General of India in Birmingham. Dr. Aman Puri, Consul General of India, Birmingham also participated in the session with Babab Ramdev. Over 2000 yoga enthusiasts from different age groups participated in the session to practice Yoga with Baba Ramdev. Texas (US), Jun 24 (ANI): Immigrant children, who have been separated from their parents under a new zero tolerance policy launched by the Trump administration are housed in a tent city next to the Mexican border in Tornillo, Texas. The facility is created to house immigrant children who are separated from their parents when they crossed the border. United States President Donald Trump on June 20 signed an executive order to stop separating children from their families who are crossing the US-Mexico border. The zero tolerance policy led to the government separating more than 2,300 children from their families. Around 500 children have been reunited with their families so far. These reunions came after a week after an image of a toddler crying at the border went viral on social media.
Amsterdam (Netherlands), Jun 24 (ANI): The European Foundation for South Asia Studies (EFSAS) has warned in its report titled "CPEC - an unfair deal for common Pakistanis?" that Pakistan's growing dependence on China for development projects such as a $ 62-billion economic corridor under the Belt and Road Initiative could turn Islamabad into a "colony" that will see it looking to Beijing for its day-to-day survival. The CPEC, which India has objected to because it passes through Gilgit Baltistan, aims to link Gwadar Port with Xinjiang and create a network of rail lines and highways, industrial zones and power plants. The much-touted CPEC project is witnessing an opposition by the people of Pakistan and Gilgit Baltistan. There are accusations of acquiring private lands without paying dues to the people. Kathmandu (Nepal), Jun 23 (ANI): Nepal's Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari has announced that International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has removed Nepal's aviation sector from the Significant Safety Concern (SSC) list. Minister Adhikari expressed commitment to remove Nepal's aviation sector even from the SSC list of European Union soon. Adhikari also apprised that Nepal-Japan air service agreement was signed in 1993 and arrangement of 14 flights have been made in a week, expressing the belief that it would help to bring in Japanese tourists to Nepal. He further said that approval has been given for Nepalgunj-Delhi flight service today itself and the service would be operated within three to four months. Minister Adhikari said that construction of Pokhara International Airport is underway in a speedy manner.

New Delhi, June 22 (ANI): Pulitzer Prize-winning Columnist, Charles Krauthammer, whose weekly column was syndicated to more than 400 publications worldwide, died at the age of 68. Born on March 13, 1950, in New York City, he pursued a medical degree at Harvard Medical School. Krauthammer had announced on June 8 that doctors had given him just weeks to live. While he has been gradually making his way back to health from cancerous tumour in abdomen, recent tests showed that cancer has returned and was spreading rapidly. He thanked his doctors, caretaker and everyone for taking his care and giving him memories to remember. In August 2017, due to his battle with cancer, Krauthammer stopped writing his column and serving as Fox News contributor.
Belgium, Jun 22 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, while attending a conference on climate change affirmed that India is willing to take lead in mitigating the effects of climate change.
