(U.S.), Oct 15 (ANI): Hitting out at Congress for criticising the Centre over demonetisation and Goods and Services tax (GST), Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said the 'opportunist' grand old party is now trying to change its stand on the economic reforms. Asserting that finance ministers of Congress-ruled states themselves hailed GST, Union Minister Jaitley said that the grand old party's claims don't have any roots. "Congress ki prathmikta kabhi us kale dhan ke upar aaghat karna nahi thha islye unki chinta swabhavik hain. Aur GST to Congress ne hi kaha tha, lekin apna stand aaj badalne ki koshish kar rahe hain. Unki rajya sarkaron ke vita mantra sab samarthan karte hain, lekin Congress ek avsarvadi party hain isliye virodh karti hain. Main manta hu ki ismein koi bahott badi takat nahi hain. The Congress party has been critical ever since the Centre introduced demonetisation and GST.
Washington D.C. (U.S.), Oct 15 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that both government and business organisations of United States of America, showed keen interest to invest in India. The Finance Minister, who held meetings with U.S. Commerce Secretary, Wilbur Ross, and Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin earlier, added that a business delegation will also visit India in November this year. Jailtey asserted that H1B visa holders are not illegal economic migrants but professionals who heavily contribute to the US economy. The Union Minister urged the U.S. Government to look upon the matter with a different perspective. Last month, External Affairs Minister (EAM) Sushma Swaraj raised the issue of H1B visa during her meeting with the United States Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. The H1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows U.S. companies to employ foreign workers in speciality occupations.

Kathmandu (Nepal), Oct 14 (ANI): Nepal Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday expanded his cabinet for the seventh time in the past five months after taking the charge. He inducted eight new ministers in his cabinet. Deuba inducted one Deputy Minister, three ministers and four state ministers from Rashtriya Prajatantra Party or (RPP). RPP President Kamal Thapa has been appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister but the portfolio for him is yet to be fixed. The latest move comes amid the reports of cabinet reshuffle that can take place before elections after the unification attempt between the Communist Party of Nepal- Unified Marxist Leninist (CPN-UML) and Maoist Center (MC), which have angst incumbent Prime Minister. He has come under severe criticisms from various quarters for presiding over the biggest-ever cabinet in the country's history.
New Delhi, Oct 14 (ANI): Amazon has put its Studios chief Roy Price on an immediate leave of absence following allegations that he harassed a producer and ignored an actress's claim of sexual assault by Harvey Weinstein. The Amazon producer did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Also, actress Rose McGowan wrote on Twitter that she told Price that Weinstein assaulted her, but that Price did nothing.
