The visiting delegation of Nigeria today inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state-run business promotion agency iNDEXTb to explore bilateral investment and trade opportunities.

The MoU was signed between Managing Director of Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXTb) Bhagyesh Jha, and Executive secretary of  Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission(NIPC), Mustafa Bello.

While briefing the Nigerian delegation Principal Secretary, Industries and Mines, M M Sahu said, "Once the tri-partied institutional framework format of the Nigerian High Commission, the CII and iDEXTb is in place, we could explore the possibilities in areas like Oil and Gas, Education, Minerals, IT and SME sector."

Bello showed keen interest in adopting the state model of development back home in Nigeria.

"With a customer base of 360 million, the high commission of Nigeria is willing to enter into capacity building programmes to access the benefits of academic excellence,"
