Mentha oil up 0.5% on export, domestic demand

Mentha oil prices rose by Rs 4.70 to Rs 849.90 per kg in futures trade today as speculators engaged in creating positions driven by a rising export as well as domestic demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for October rose by Rs 4.70, or 0.55%, to Rs 849.90 per kg, with a business volume of 337 lots.
The oil for November delivery rose by Rs 4.60, or 0.53%, to Rs 862.90 per kg, with a trading volume of 54 lots.
