Gitanjali Gems leads gainers in 'A' group

Jewellery retailer Gitanjali Gems jumped 8.92% to Rs 520.75. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock hit a record high of Rs 527 in intraday today, 7 December 2012.

Auto component maker Motherson Sumi Systems climbed 6.96% to Rs 194.50. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a record high of Rs 200.95 in intraday today, 7 December 2012.

Power generation company JSW Energy rose 5.57% to Rs 68.20. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals rose 3.75% to Rs 447. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Agrochemicals maker United Phosphorus rose 3.16% to Rs 127.30. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
