Bronze idol recovered

A bronze idol of Goddess

Mariamman, stolen from a temple near Peravoorani three months ago, has been recovered and one persons arrested, police said.

The special team police team had detained a youth on suspicion yesterday.

During questioning, he confessed to have committed the theft.

The idol was later recovered.
