Missing Bikaner constable's body found floating in Jaisalmer

Body of a missing police constable from Bikaner was found floating in a canal in Mohangarh area of the district here, police said today.

Body of 41-year-old Asusram was found floating in the canal yesterday.

"Asusram, posted at Naya Shahar police station left his home for duty on December 10 but did not reach the place. A missing complaint in this regard was also registered at Jainarayan Vihar police station," police said.

Prima-facie, it appears to be a matter of suicide, they said adding, the matter is under investigation.
