Who is ISIS-K?

Islamic State of Iraq and Syria-Khorasan (ISIS-K), also known by the acronyms -- ISKP and ISK, is the official affiliate of the Islamic State movement operating in Afghanistan, as recognised by Islamic State leadership in Syria and Iraq. The terror group represents a persisting threat to the American and allied interests in South and Central Asia.
