Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.

Japan-based water treatment solutions provider Daiki Axis will invest about Rs 200 crore to set up its third manufacturing facility in India at Tumakuru, Karnataka, seeking to tap the country's growing demand for sustainable wastewater treatment and water recycling solutions.
The new facility, to be set up by its wholly owned local subsidiary Daiki Axis India, will manufacture and assemble sewage treatment systems based on Japan's proprietary "Johkasou" technology, which enables decentralised wastewater treatment and reuse, a company official said.

SAIL and Indonesia-based PT Krakatau Steel, which have signed an MoU to set up a joint venture, are exploring a stainless steel project with a capacity of 500,000 tonnes to 1 million tonnes under the proposed JV, a source with direct knowledge of the plans said.
Earlier this week, the steel PSU and the Indonesian entity signed a memorandum of understanding to explore a joint venture to manufacture stainless steel slabs to meet the commodity's increasing demand in India.
"SAIL and PT Krakatau Steel would explore setting up a stainless steel project. It can be of 0.5 million tonnes (MT) capacity, or it can also be of 1 MT. But that will be discussed after the formation of a joint venture," the source said.

Realty major DLF Ltd Chairman Rajiv Singh's remuneration rose 20 per cent to Rs 44.06 crore in the last fiscal amid better performance, according to its latest annual report.
As per the list of remuneration paid/payable to directors/KMPs (key managerial personnel) during 2025-26, the DLF's Chairman and whole-time director has received Rs 44.06 crore remuneration for the last fiscal year against Rs 36.65 crore in 2024-25.
Out of the total remuneration paid to the DLF Chairman, Rs 41.74 crore has been in the form of commission.
DLF's Managing Director Ashok Kumar Tyagi has received Rs 15.30 crore as remuneration for 2025-26, up 8 per cent from Rs 14.16 crore in the preceding year. Out of this, Rs 5.45 crore is in commission form.
The remuneration of DLF's MD Devinder Singh increased 24 per cent to Rs 17.52 crore last fiscal from Rs 14.16 crore in 2024-25.
He received Rs 7.68 crore as commission.
Tyagi and Devinder Singh became Managing Directors with effect from August 4, 2023.
