This is a tribute to a man claimed to have lived up to the Emersonian ideal of greatness
("the largest part of their power was latent"""Character, a force that acts "by presence, and without means"): Ev Rogers, 1931-2004, author of Diffusion of Innovations, and academic guru of that very subject, an interest piqued by the eight years it took his farmer father to adopt hybrid corn.

This book is a collection of essays edited by Arvind Singhal (not of KSA Technopak) and James Dearing, both of Ohio University, and it also covers allied areas Rogers led the curiosity of fellow researchers of a positivist bent towards: such as entertainment as an education tool. From a social marketing perspective, this book would qualify as readable.
