Ashok Leyland FY07 net up 35% at Rs 441cr

Ashok Leyland has posted 35% increase in net profit at Rs 441.29 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 (FY07) when compared with Rs 327.32 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 (FY06).

According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income has increased to Rs 7238.98 crore for FY07 from Rs 5280.63 crore for FY06.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2007 (Q4FY07), the company has posted a net profit of Rs 171.52 crore as compared to Rs 133.46 crore for Q4FY06. Total income has increased to Rs 2307.89 crore for Q4FY07 from Rs 1743.35 crore for Q4FY06, the release said.
