Bhartiya Group announces launch of Bhartiya City
The new integrated township spread across 125-acres of land has 8 districts

Delhi-based textile major Bhartiya Group announced the launch of its real estate project, “Bhartiya City”, about 15 kilometres from Bangalore city. The new integrated township spread across 125-acres of land has 8 districts which bring together homes in different formats, work spaces including a large IT SEZ and Financial District, shopping district and a high street, hotels, a hospital, a school with great attention to public realm covering many parks and streets which are pedestrian and cyclist friendly to give a unique experience of a township rightly labeled as ‘City of Joy’.
The company is planning to invest around Rs 2,000 crore for the project and is expected to complete the development within 10 years. It has also formed a consortium of seven banks such as Corporation Bank, Bank of Baroda, Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, State bank of Patiala among others.

The company official said that the project is being developed in phases and has completed first phase of 5 million square feet which includes an IT park and residential facilities including apartments and villas.
It has priced the residential complex in the range of Rs 29 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore based on the available facility. Bhartiya City has signed up with Leela Hotels to operate the first hotel which will also include the largest conference centre in Bangalore.
“The total built-up area, once the project is completed, would be around 12 million square feet,” Aggarwal said.
Bhartiya is also setting up a 250-acre leather Special Economic Zone at Tada in Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh. It is the first product-specific SEZ of its kind in India in a JV with Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd.
