Power utility CESC today said it would move the court against Glodyne Technoserve which has won the bid for a electricity distribution franchisee in Bihar.

"We are going to court against Glodyne in the next 10 days contesting the admisibility of the bidder as we doubt their credentials," CSCE Vice-Chairman Sanjiv Goenka said here.

The RPG group company had bid for an international tender floated by the Bihar government for the Patna Distribution Circle.

CESC, Anil Ambani-controlled Reliance Infrastructure and Mumbai-based Glodyne Technoserve were among the shortlisted bidders.

Bihar currently has an average daily availability of 1,100-1,200 MW against an average demand of 1,500 MW and peak of 1,800-2,000 MW. CESC also plans to set up a 2,000 MW power plant in Bihar.
